Participation Terms: Creator / Influencer Program

Effective date: June 25, 2026.

Overview

1. Scope and relationship to other rules

These terms apply in addition to the User Terms, the Author Terms, the AI Addendum, and the Privacy Policy. For matters governed by this program, these participation terms take precedence.

2. Eligibility

  1. A Crazypatterns account with an active author account; you must be of legal age (18+).
  2. Your own publicly accessible channel on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, or Facebook.
  3. Genuine, organic reach without bought engagement or fake followers.
  4. No claim to participation or to acceptance of a submission.

3. Submission

  1. New posts only: Only posts submitted within 7 calendar days of their first publication are eligible. Older posts, re-uploads, or content reactivated from an archive are excluded. The platform-reported time of first public publication is decisive.
  2. Disclosure up front: The post must be clearly marked as advertising (for example "Ad" or "Sponsored") no later than at submission (see Section 5). If the required disclosure can no longer be added because of platform editing limits (for example a TikTok caption after 7 days), there is no claim to compensation.
  3. Limit: Per channel, at most one open or approved submission per calendar month is possible.
  4. Availability: The post must remain publicly accessible for at least 90 days (a condition for the second installment). Stories are recognized only as a Highlight (or comparably permanent and public); plain 24-hour stories do not meet this condition.

4. Content and quality requirements

  1. Topic: on topic for handicrafts, DIY, knitting, crochet, sewing, crafting, plotter cutting, or related creative themes.
  2. Your own post: an authentic post that meaningfully shows or mentions Crazypatterns or a specific pattern.
  3. Visuals: at least one of your own photos or videos; no mere reposts or stock-only sequences.
  4. No purely AI content: no purely AI-generated output without substantial work of your own.

5. Disclosure and rights

  1. Advertising disclosure: as "Ad" or "Sponsored" (or the equivalent required locally), recognizable at first glance, at the beginning of the caption or description and, for video and story, clearly visible in the image. Platform tools for paid partnerships are supplementary, not a replacement.
  2. Crazypatterns reference: at least one reference (link in bio or description, link sticker, or a named URL).
  3. Third-party rights: You represent that you hold all rights to the submitted content and infringe no third-party rights, in particular to music, images, trademarks, depicted persons, and third-party pattern or instruction content.
  4. Use of the brand: The Crazypatterns brand may be used only in the context of the specific post and not in a disparaging way.
  5. Use by Crazypatterns: Crazypatterns may name and link to accepted posts and, with your consent, use them as an example or repost to promote the program.

6. Review and decision

Submissions are first pre-screened automatically and AI-assisted. The final decision is always made by our team. No decision based solely on automated processing within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

How it works:

  1. Submit: provide the post link and channel.
  2. AI pre-screening: automatic check and reach research.
  3. Approval: final decision by our team.
  4. Payout: 50% after approval, 50% after 90 days.

7. Compensation and payout

7.1 Tiers by reach

You are placed in a compensation tier based on reach and format. The higher of your follower count or your average views per post ("avg. views/post") is decisive; the highest tier whose criteria you meet applies. At least the Starter tier is required to take part.

Avg. views/post means the average views of the organic posts of the same primary format first published in the last 30 days, according to the native analytics of your platform, not the sum of all channel views. Paid or boosted content, reposts, story Highlights, and archive re-uploads do not count. Proof is by screenshot or screen recording from the native analytics; where proof is incomplete or appears edited, Crazypatterns may request further proof and defer the placement.

The tiers at a glance: Starter from 1,000, Creator from 10,000, Pro from 50,000 followers, or 1,000 / 10,000 / 100,000 avg. views/post.

7.2 Compensation by format

Compensation is a fixed "up to" guide value by tier and format. The currently valid amounts by format and tier are listed in the compensation overview on the program page. Blog posts go through the separate Blog Compensation program.

7.3 Payout

The stated amounts are the amounts paid to you: 50% after approval, 50% no earlier than 90 days after approval. Payment details are collected only after approval. Participants are themselves responsible for proper taxation; participants liable for VAT are settled via the credit-note (self-billing) procedure. Payout requires complete payment and, where applicable, tax details.

8. Your representations

  1. All information is truthful.
  2. The post infringes no third-party rights and no applicable law.
  3. No manipulation of reach or engagement.

9. Exclusions and consequences

  1. Excluded are, among others, bought engagement, the same submission across multiple accounts, misleading statements, and offensive content.
  2. In the event of a violation, we may reject the submission, reclaim compensation already paid, and restrict the account.

10. Data protection

We process the information you enter in the form, the public content of your post, and publicly available reach data, for the purpose of reviewing, classifying, compensating, and settling your submission. The AI-assisted pre-screening may involve external service providers. The purpose, legal bases, data types, sources, recipients, retention period, and your rights are described in detail in the Privacy Policy and the AI Addendum.

11. Changes to these terms

We may adjust these participation terms with effect for the future. For a given submission, the version accepted at the time of submission applies; changes apply only to future submissions.

12. Final provisions

The final provisions and choice-of-law provisions of the User Terms apply. Contact: Support.
