1. Register & log in
In addition to paid ones, you’ll also find many free patterns on Crazypatterns. To download a pattern, you must first register or – if you already have an account – log in. If you are registering for a new account, you will receive a confirmation email—confirm it once to activate your account.
2. Find free downloads: Desktop mega menu & Mobile off-canvas
Desktop (Mega menu “Browse”)
- Click on Browse in the top navigation (or the three-line ☰ icon).
- In the mega menu, under the column Quick links, select Free.
Mobile (Off-canvas navigation)
- Tap the hamburger icon ☰ (three lines) at the top left to open the off-canvas navigation.
- Scroll to the Quick links section and tap Free.

4. How to download for free
- Click on the preview image or the title of the desired pattern in the overview.
- On the product page you’ll find the “Download for free” button – tap/click and save.
- Most patterns are PDFs. To open them you’ll need a PDF reader (e.g. Adobe Acrobat Reader).
5. Review & give feedback
Please remember to review the pattern after you’ve tried it out. Your review helps improve Crazypatterns continuously – and makes it easier for other users to quickly find suitable projects.
