Working Over the Unused Yarn in the Last Stitch

Here we’d like to show you a small trick to make crocheting even more fun.

We've all been there: carrying along the yarn for a color you aren't currently using can be tricky. To avoid pulling the strands tight across the inside of your crochet project—while still carrying them along easily—we recommend working over the unused yarn in the last stitch of the round.

To do this, insert your hook into the stitch, place the unused yarn over the crochet hook, and pull up a loop with your working yarn.

By yarning over and pulling the working yarn through, the unused yarn gets neatly enclosed. And just like that, the problem is solved.
