Flat Bobble (Puff Stitch), Version 1

Here we will show you how to crochet a puff stitch. A puff stitch consists of several yarn overs that are always worked into the same stitch. There is Version 1 (V1) and Version 2 (V2), which differ in the number of yarn overs.

First, here are the instructions for Version 1. Yarn over, insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over, and pull up a loop.

Now repeat the same steps (yarn over, insert into the same stitch, yarn over, and pull up a loop) one more time, until you have a total of 5 loops on your crochet hook.
