1. Why a forum?

Crazypatterns is more than just a shop – it thrives on its community. In the forum you can

• quickly get help if you’re stuck on a pattern (video, course, CAL etc.),
• show your work & get feedback,
• contact designers directly.

In short: the forum connects individuals into a creative, supportive community.

2. Open forum – how to find it

1. Log in: Sign in with username/email and password.
2. Open “Browse” menu: Click “Browse” to the left of your avatar.
3. Community & Help → Forum: In the drop-down menu under “Community & Help” tap “Forum”.
4. Forum overview: The page now shows “All posts” by default. Use the tabs Categories, Overview or Latest to filter or sort as needed.

3. Create your own topic – step by step

1. Click “New +” button: At the top right click “New +” – the page automatically jumps to the post editor at the bottom.
2. Select category (dropdown “Forum”): Directly above the editor you’ll find the “Forum” field. Open the dropdown and tick the appropriate section (e.g. General, Crochet, Knitting, Sewing, Recommendations, Chat or Support & Help).
3. Subject & comment:
   • Subject: Short and concise (e.g. “Problem with magic ring”).
   • Comment: Describe your concern in detail; upload images using the Upload image icon.
   • Notification: Tick the box if you want to be notified of replies by email.
4. Publish: Check everything and click “Add comment” – your thread appears immediately in the chosen category.

4. Reply to posts

1. Open topic: Select the thread where you want to help.
2. Activate reply field: Scroll to the editor or click “Reply”.
3. Type reply: Write your help, tips or questions.
4. Send: Click “Add comment” – done!

5. Copyright & Netiquette

• Do not post third-party images or texts.
• Avoid advertising links: external links to shops, personal blogs etc. are not allowed.
