Overview
1. Why change regularly?
It’s a good idea to change your password if you’ve been using it for a long time or notice signs of compromise:
- Reduce risk from data breaches: If your password appears in a leak, a new one immediately blocks unauthorized access to your Crazypatterns account.
- Protect personal data: A fresh, strong password prevents others from viewing or changing profile or payment details.
- Prevent misuse: Replacing old, reused passwords stops attackers from exploiting them for spam or fraud.
Crazypatterns further protects your information with encryption, firewalls, and other measures. Choose a long, unique password – ideally with the help of a password manager – and keep regular password changes as an extra layer of protection.
2. Change password – step by step
- Log in to your Crazypatterns account.
- Click your avatar image at the top right and select “Settings”.
- Open the section “Change password”.
- First, enter your current password.
- Type your new password and repeat it to confirm.
- Select “Save changes” – your new password is now active.
3. Tips for a strong password
- Mix & match: Combine uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
- No obvious choices: Avoid easily guessed words like names or birth dates.
- Stay unique: Use your password only for this account.
