The washcloth is nice and dense and sturdier than one crocheted the usual way. I think you need a little more yarn. I’ve never really paid attention to that before. In any case, the back looks nice, too. I gave the washcloth away, so I can’t show you a picture of it anymore. I used 48 g of cotton yarn (scraps) with a meterage of 125 m/50 g. 
Why not give it a try again? It’s really fun.

Petra, the sweater is the same in the front and back, so it can easily be worn either way. This pattern
is perfect, and the piece is easy to crochet. (Gallery)

I watched a video on YouTube. I followed along for a few rounds. But I did most of the front piece off the top of my head.

The back is crocheted entirely based on my own idea.  The pillow is now finished.
Andrea, I agree with you—mosaic crochet is addictive and, above all, fun.

It’s actually not hard to crochet your own pattern; you just have to do a little counting. 

Here’s a sweater—I put it on just for this.

The text says to decrease in the 18th round. Then decrease again in the following 17th round.
Your assumption is correct: after the 57 cm, you increase again in the 16th round.

The easiest thing is to write to the designer under "Contact" , as Creatowl also wrote.

In December, I added:
7 children's hats and 2 pairs of baby shoes, 1x mittens, 2 little guardian angels for the grandchildren,
2 angels - given away, and  Roland the Christmas Moose

I used  911g of yarn for them

My pillow that I started will only be added in January.
Usage through the end of December:   9218 g  - approx. 160 items

I feel the same way as you do—I enjoy knitting and crocheting equally.

I crochet small items very often, but I prefer to knit sweaters, jackets, and so on. It’s true—they’re softer, and there are so many great knitting patterns.

This afternoon, I continued crocheting my UFO jacket. Now I’m working on the band. It’s going to have two pockets.

Since I’m not really doing any crafts right now, I decided to take a look.

Browsing and writing are always possible. So, I have 97 purchased patterns, and I’ve actually made 32 of them—some even multiple times. I have 4 sitting around as UFOs.

I have over 150 free patterns, but I’ve only made 15 of them so far.
Whether I’ll ever get to all of them is still up in the air, but as we all know, it’s always good to be prepared.

You gave me an idea with this topic. 

I crocheted the back of my Tunisian crochet potholder
in C2C.

Mel has already explained how it’s done.
I went looking and actually found a few older items that I knitted.

I really enjoy Tunisian crochet too; I started it last year.
The shawl pattern explains how to work the pattern.  You don’t need a separate workshop for this. The workshop included with the pattern shows other patterns.
You can watch how to crochet the shawl on YouTube. Just search for “Tuch Traumfänger Tunisian crochet.”

I like the double-face technique too, but I haven’t tried it yet. I’ll get around to it someday.

My October projects are quick to list:

For my jacket, I used up 12 skeins of yarn, which will be unraveled again.
