Still no snow here, so today I want to embroider a few lace motifs and window decorations—I need something cheerful on my windows, because looking out at that gray mess just makes you feel sluggish and depressed.
Knitting, crocheting, making a photo book, painting a lamp, going for a walk, baking bread... so many ideas—let’s see what I can actually check off my to-do list in the end.
It’s snowing here, too, but there won’t be enough for a snowman. It’s all melting right away—I think it’s too warm.

Here in Lower Saxony, today isn’t a holiday, and there’s no snow either.
I’ll be putting away the Christmas decorations, as is our tradition. Ever since I was a child, we’ve always taken down the decorations on January 6.
The weather here is lousy. It actually snowed briefly this morning. But forget it—it looks like it’s not going to stick.

It has its good side, though—I’ve started my second Tunisian crochet project. It’s going great.
