My blog is turning orange! Fall is shining brightly in the form of pumpkins. And you can crochet your own. As a fun little project, you can crochet them with just a little yarn as keychains or bag charms. It’s a lovely little, manageable project that even beginner crocheters can tackle. You can crochet them for yourself or give them to loved ones.

If you’ve taken a liking to the little pumpkins, you might also enjoy crocheting them in larger sizes as decorations. This crochet project is a lot of fun, and you’ll end up with a pretty decoration. I especially like it when you arrange pumpkins of different sizes together. They are all crocheted in the same way using half double crochet stitches. And yet each pumpkin turns out differently, if that’s what you want. I share my tips and tricks with you on my blog with the free crochet pattern, which is especially well suited for beginner crocheters.

I hope you enjoy the free crochet patterns.
Warm regards from Ina

It’s getting colder, and what suits this weather?
A scarf—but not just any scarf, a knitted one in double-face technique.
In my latest blog post, you’ll learn how to knit a lace pattern into this scarf.

These pretty potholders are made from two different cotton yarn scraps.
You don’t need to know much. Knit stitches are enough, and if you want the pretty edging and the hanging loop, you’ll also need basic crochet skills.
It also works without a hanging loop.
You can find small towel clips in stores, and you can use those for the potholder too.

You can use and decorate this little round decorative piece in many ways.
You can hang it on the wall, use it as a gift tag, as a bag charm, as a coaster, etc.
You only need a few leftover yarn scraps and you can get started.
Even though it looks as if a ring has been crocheted around in the middle, it is made entirely of yarn.

Curious now?

The season of gift-giving is just around the corner, so how about crocheting homemade gift ribbons for your wrapping? I have a free pattern for delicate little star ribbons on my blog.

You can adjust these ribbons to any length you like—whether as a long gift ribbon for a larger present, or a short little ribbon to close a St. Nicholas bag or Advent calendar package—and they are quick to crochet, almost on the side (so they’re perfect for making while watching TV).

Of course, you can also crochet the little stars individually as tags, scatter decorations, or for sewing on. The pattern starts with the star, which you can finish on its own, or you can continue crocheting directly with the ribbon. Nothing needs to be sewn on separately.

I hope you have lots of fun crocheting and enjoying the first anticipation of Christmas!

🌙✨ My new blog post: A Friendly Halloween Ghost with an LED Light

Hi everyone 🧡

At our house, my kids are constantly talking about ghosts right now—but instead of spookiness, I wanted to bring a little light and smiles to the Halloween season this year. That’s how my little, glowing crocheted ghost came to be 👻🕯️
In my new blog post, I’ll show you step by step how to crochet this cute ghost—with an LED tea light inside so it glows softly. It’s perfect for a windowsill or stair step and is easy enough for beginners to make.
The post also includes a little bonus idea: a delicate spiderweb as an extra decoration.
And of course, you’ll find out why Halloween at our house this year isn’t all about spookiness, but is instead filled with love. 🧶✨

I can’t wait to see how your little ghost turns out—feel free to share your versions or tell me where your ghost will be shining later on. 💡💬
Autumnal greetings, Franziska | Connected with love 🧡

My new blog post is all about animals 😄. I have a free cross-stitch pattern of a French Bulldog for you.

I’ve designed the sleeping puppy in two sizes. The post is packed with information about different fabrics for embroidery, fabric density, embroidery needle sizes, and how many strands of embroidery thread to use for stitching. If you’re interested in all of this, you can find the blog post here.

Have fun embroidering and reading!

Yes, I wrote to you yesterday; unfortunately I got mixed up, so I thought you had done the thing with the stars!
I'm very sorry—I wanted to tell you that your little bulldog is absolutely adorable.
Best regards, Corinna
