Cardigan

My cardigan is finally finished; the design is my own. The yarn was a gift from my husband; he said, knit yourself something nice and warm so you’re not always freezing :-) I need space around my neck; I can’t stand it for anything in the world when something fits tightly around my neck—it makes me panic.

I saw the cardigan in person earlier—it’s even prettier in real life than it looks in the picture. It turned out really great and looks amazing on you!

Dear Inge, you’ve been so hard at work! A lot of effort went into this cardigan—and considering the arthritis in your hands—it makes it even more special. I’m not usually a fan of stripes, but they look great on your cardigan. You even managed to make the stripes match on both front panels, and you sewed in a zipper—great job!

I hope you enjoy wearing it and that it keeps you nice and warm.
