Using patterns on a cell phone, for example

With the often very versatile😉 patterns, I was wondering whether they can be read on a cell phone. Has anyone tried this?

That’s pretty much the only way I do it anymore.

It’s not for me. I don’t like constantly typing on my phone.

It works great. There are also handy apps where you can upload the PDF patterns and then have a row counter and a reading line right there, take notes, and save all the important project details (needle size, yarn type, color, etc.). That’s pretty much the only way I do it now 🙂

These apps, including stitch counters and the like, are certainly helpful for that. I didn’t even know they existed.
Since some crafters like to work on a screen (including with a tablet or similar device), I’m switching to providing my embroidery patterns as PNG files. That way, the counting pattern is displayed in its entirety without page breaks. There are also apps for embroidery with additional features. I haven’t worked with them yet, though.
