Hello everyone,
we’d like to keep you updated more often on how Crazypatterns is developing. First, a look back at the past 30 days – each compared with the same period last year (through June 22):
How we bring users to the platform – more and more efficiently:
The way people search is changing a lot right now. More and more general (non-branded) search queries are being answered directly in the new AI overviews – we’re seeing this across Google and Bing, a worldwide shift. At the same time, more visitors are coming to us through AI tools – a new channel that we are intentionally expanding. We are working nonstop to make sure Crazypatterns – and therefore the stores – remain visible and easy to find. A few examples from the past few weeks:
This is only a small sample – much more is happening behind the scenes.
Thank you for making Crazypatterns what it is with your creativity every day. We’re continuing to build this together – stay tuned and keep creating such wonderful patterns and projects – share them! 💛
New search – a little preview: “Muse" 🔮
We’d like to show you one new feature in advance: Muse, our new AI-assisted search. Instead of only matching keywords, Muse tries to understand what you’re really looking for – the motif, the material, the technique ... A little “Here’s how I understood that" line shows how your input was interpreted, and the results are sorted by relevance and popularity – so suitable patterns appear at the top.
Important: Muse is currently a preview – a chance to try it out and play with it, not the final feature yet.
Not every result is perfect yet, and we’re improving Muse practically every day. That’s exactly what the preview is for: Try it out and tell us what works well – and what doesn’t (feel free to do so here in the thread). Your feedback flows directly into further development.
We want patterns to show up exactly when someone is searching for them – no matter how the question is phrased.
Best regards
Your Crazypatterns Team
Thank you very much, Alexander, for giving us such a detailed update on the developments at Crazypatterns. I find this very interesting. It shows us authors that our work is worthwhile and that you’re making the most of it. You guys are just really good at what you do!
We creative types can only guess at everything that goes on behind the scenes. But YOU have to master the technical side so that, in the end, we can succeed together. So, from me, a big shout-out to the entire Crazypatterns team for their work behind the scenes! Thanks to posts like this one, we can now understand it even better.
We’re always impressed when you introduce a newly developed tool almost in passing. But that’s just one building block backed by a lot of work. It’s great how much you keep an eye on, both for the present and for the future.

I thought the idea of the challenges was great right from the start. It brings the site to life and makes it more entertaining. It lowers the barrier to getting to know Crazypatterns. You can tell there are people here who love crafts just as much as I do. There are first purchases, exchanges with like-minded people, and a real feel-good atmosphere. You’re happy to come back and soon feel right at home.
I tried out the new “Muse” feature right away. Very nice! Even if you can’t describe exactly what you want, it still suggests things that fit well.
I won’t keep interrupting any longer. In any case, I’m delighted that CP is doing so well and that things are developing so positively thanks to our joint efforts.
I wish everyone a wonderful day.
Best regards, Ina
