Ready for spring?

Dear users, dear authors,
are you done with this snowless winter and ready for a fresh new spring?

(M)A picture is worth a thousand words. I’m totally ready for spring.

I trimmed them on Sunday, and today they’re bringing me joy.

We didn’t get any snow at all this year. Not even a single flake.

But we’ve already harvested the first lamb’s lettuce from the cold frame, and the radishes and kohlrabi have started sprouting too. Butterhead lettuce is growing like crazy, and even my daughter’s little raised bed is already green.

Bring on spring!

I’m so ready for spring... I’m even trying to lure it in. I’ve had enough of the gray—I want some color.

Yes, I already have potted spring flowers all over the place, and I’m enjoying the colorful blooms sprouting in the gardens and the birds singing. Even the hedgehog is awake already, and we’re giving him a little help getting started by feeding him.

Anticipation is just such a wonderful thing, and I’m looking forward to the real awakening of spring still ahead of me.

I’ve caught the spring bug too.
