Introductions June 2026 / How did you find Crazypatterns?

It’s great to have you all here. How did you find Crazypatterns? Would you like to introduce yourselves? Of course, longtime members who have been here for a while are welcome to introduce themselves too.

A few years ago, I was searching online for a platform for my pattern and ended up here because it just felt right to me.

In the meantime, I’ve also been on other sites, but those are history now.

I found out about Crazypatterns in one of the crochet groups on Facebook. I was looking for a place where I could find mostly German-language patterns. Since many posts included links to the patterns on Crazypatterns, I took a look around here and quickly felt right at home 😊

When I started writing my own patterns a few years ago, it was clear to me that I only wanted to share them here. To this day, I’m incredibly happy with that decision ☀️

I also ended up here while searching for patterns—some of which link here via Pinterest—and I always enjoy coming back. You can find lots of patterns here—including free ones—as well as inspiration. And when I’m short on ideas, browsing here is just plain fun.

I’ve been part of a sewing forum for years, and people there would frequently post sewing and knitting patterns from CP—that’s how I ended up here. At first, I just came to browse, and then at some point I signed up. You get a lot of input and inspiration here, and if you’re stuck, people are always there to help without any hesitation
