Flowers are blooming here...

... on and under the windowsill. This spring, our community handed out free packets of wildflower and meadow flower seeds to provide food for bees and other insects right here at home. Little by little, everything is blooming beautifully here

In my garden, my husband always leaves patches of the lawn unmowed when he mows, so that whatever nature wants can thrive there.

That’s lovely, Inge. I also have a meadow flower mix like that on my balcony. It’s blooming in such beautiful colors right now. Let’s see if I can snap a picture of it tomorrow.

My balcony flowers love the sun, and I water them every evening, so they’re looking pretty good.

Veronika, you have such a beautiful mix on your balcony. I’d love that, too.

It’s so beautiful how everything is blooming on your balcony, too—it brings such joy, and just looking at it warms your heart.

That’s exactly right! Sometimes I just sit there and watch the flowers bloom—it really does me a world of good!

I greet my flowers and plants every day, and they thank me by growing lushly. 

Things are still blooming “a little” in my garden....
Everything here is still pretty green—we’re “lucky” to have two fairly large water tanks here, each holding 2000l, which was enough to keep the perennials going. By the way, the lawn is only so green because it’s made up of moss and 90% clover 🙈 

I love my “wilderness.” ... 

Oh, Steffi, it looks so wonderfully natural at your place with all the wild herbs. I love that! It’s similar here, but since we’re just renting, we have to keep things somewhat tidy. Our landlord already gives us a lot of leeway, for which we’re very grateful.


There’s order here, too...
I just have a lot of perennial beds where everything is allowed to grow wherever it finds space... Orderly chaos, so to speak... There are slow worms, mice, toads, frogs, and the like here, plus quite a few feathered friends... 



Oh yes... I’m completely in love with the roses

More and more flowers are blooming—it’s starting to look really great :-)
