Oh, I remember that bird park from when we lived in Bremen 40 years ago. I used to visit there with my son every summer. Yes, it’s definitely worth a trip.

Dear Ina, I can totally relate to that. The jasmine gives off an incredibly beautiful scent. We cut a few branches and put them in the living room. It’s a real eye-catcher. I had no idea that shrubs like this could be transplanted. Ours gets plenty of sun, but also some shade at times from a tree next to it.

I think I’ll start my own thread with my garden photos in the next few days.

Oh, how delicious, Petra—I’d love to stop by for a taste. We used to live near Lake Constance, and we often had Maultaschen there. The vegetarian version would be my go-to as well. Homemade ones taste so much better than the store-bought ones. And that way, you know exactly what’s in them.

On Good Friday, we have Steckerlfisch with big pretzels—we’re getting together with friends.

Yes, Yolanda, that’s how I understand it too. We’re talking about the sleeves here, and they’re decreased in a way that creates a slant. The lower sleeves are narrower than the upper ones.

So that definitely means on both sides.
