Handcraft dishcloths / washcloths

Dear users, dear authors,
Let’s get back to making reusable dishcloths / washcloths by hand. They’re also great for using up scraps or as gifts .

2–3 patterns per author are enough. Don’t forget to include links, pictures, information, etc. All patterns promoted in this thread must have at least 10 sales each and a conversion rate (CR) of at least 2%, and they must not have been promoted in the forum within the past 3 weeks. 

Knitted dishcloths / washcloths are always welcome gifts for your best friend, mum or grandma, or for collectors of owls, frogs, etc., because you can also use these cloths as
small motif doilies or napkins.
If you’re still looking for a little something for a baby’s birth or first birthday, there are also plenty of motifs for boys and girls, or the teddy bear that all children love…

You’ll find a lovely way to crochet up your smaller cotton scraps here with this dishcloth. After one pattern row, you can change the yarn to create this beautiful zigzag pattern.



The crochet pattern includes both a crochet chart and a written explanation of the pattern. You should be familiar with single crochet, chain stitches, double crochet, and half double crochet.

A dishcloth paired with a matching tea towel always makes a lovely gift.

Here is the pattern

Klude is the Danish word for “rag,” but it actually means dishcloth or cleaning cloth. You can just as easily use the cloth as a washcloth, too. Just knit these
cloths for your whole family—in everyone’s favorite color!



With this pattern, you can knit 5 different designs. The hanging loops are worked in right away. So you don’t have to crochet at all, just weave in the starting and ending ends. It couldn’t be
easier!

You can knit a very special washcloth or dishcloth featuring a dove of peace motif. After all, who doesn’t love peace? It would also be a great idea as a gesture of peace.

In any case, this cloth is a real eye-catcher and something truly special. It’s easy to knit using the stitch pattern chart included in this pattern.

To the knitting pattern

You can crochet wonderful, colorful dishwashing and shower sponges from sponge yarn. They are very easy to care for, as they can be washed in the washing machine at 60° without any problems and dry quickly. The slightly scratchy texture makes it easy and gentle to remove food residue from dishes when washing up. That’s why these sponges are also excellent for showering, bathing, and exfoliating.
