Mmm, asparagus—that looks delicious. I could go for some right now, too.

We’re just having oatmeal with milk today. My husband wants to lose weight anyway, and I’m in the mood for something light and sweet—but with warm milk and honey. My husband always has cold milk. Maybe I’ll add a few nuts and raisins, and that’s it—a light meal.

Otherwise, I’ll be cooking, of course.

Wow, Inge, you’re so quick. You’ve got such a pretty little cutie (Püppi) there. Dressed so cutely.

Wonderful 🌞😉☕️

Good morning everyone, today is April 1, so you’re allowed to fool anyone, and it’s fun too, but not
when it’s a bad joke.

I still didn’t have a work schedule for this month, so I wrote to my colleague, and she said: “tomorrow, yes.” I took that to mean I had to work. Went in early this morning, and they sent me back home again. :-((

That really leaves you speechless, doesn’t it. I got up early for nothing, but... there was something positive too: I saw a gorgeous sunrise.
Now I need a cappuccino first to get over that shock.

Don’t let anyone get to you

My warmest congratulations to you as well. Best of luck and, above all, good health.
I wish you a wonderful birthday surrounded by your loved ones.

Hugs, Andrea

Oh, how lovely! Your Peterle looks really adorable in his new outfit. I’d be tempted to swipe him from you. What a heartwarming gesture from your husband. A teddy bear is always a good idea.
I wish you both many more happy years together.

Warmest regards
Andrea :-)

Thank you, Josefa—I wish the same for everyone else, of course.
I don’t have anything big planned. I’ll be doing some crafts and crocheting again, and if it’s nice and warm again tomorrow, I’ll be sitting out on the balcony too. I’ll keep working on my little diamond painting.

We had coffee on the balcony again today, but as soon as the sun disappears behind the corner of the house, it gets chilly.

Stay healthy, everyone

Best regards, Andrea

Good evening, dear Monika, belated best wishes on your birthday from me. Wishing you good luck and good health.
It sounds like you had a perfect day—everything you had sounds delicious.
Stay just the way you are, and keep delighting us with your creative ideas.

Warm regards from me
Andrea

Likewise, Josefa, and I also wish everyone else a relaxing, sunny weekend, with plenty of crafts or whatever else you have planned.

I’m going to enjoy my time off, do some crafts, and make Easter cards, and I also have some Diamond Painting pictures I started that I still need to finish ... At some point, I also want to cast and paint stones. So it’s
never boring around here—I just need more time :-)

Best regards, Andrea

Inge, your embroidered bunny looks so pretty. I'm always amazed at what kind of technology some people have at home.

Petra, your placemat looks really great. Are the rows topstitched there? It looks nice and even.
I can’t keep up with that.

I’m crocheting these flip-flop bag charms again

Well, here in BRB, there wasn’t anything either.

Yes, it definitely makes me happy. A day without crafts is a day wasted. It helps me relax completely, lets me unwind from work, and when I can make someone happy with something I’ve crocheted or knitted myself, it’s even better.

Yes, yesterday while I was out for a walk, the first signs of spring appeared. Glorious 🌞 sunshine, wonderful air. That’s how I’m enjoying my day off.

Nothing’s happening here in Brandenburg. We just watched the Rose Monday parade from Frankfurt am Main live on TV because my husband is from there.
Otherwise, it’s been pretty quiet.

A real chocolate bunny. Great job, Inge.

Hugs from me

Oh, how cute. They always look so fluffy.

Wishing everyone a wonderful Sunday. I’m enjoying my day off, doing some crafts and experimenting (I always switch between bullet journaling, crocheting, diamond painting, or making cards) depending on what I feel like doing.

My old die-cutting machine gave out—I cranked it a little too hard, and snap, it broke.
I have a new Big Shot now, and I’m testing it out, die-cutting like crazy.

Does anyone else have a Double Do? I still have some plates left over, if anyone’s interested.

Warm regards from me :-))

I still have plenty in stock, but a few days ago I bought just a single 100-gram skein of white—I needed it for my mosaic granny squares. Other than that, I’ve stayed strong.

I’m trying to work through my yarn little by little. I also still have some yarn I don’t like—I just can’t bring myself to use it.

I currently have 1,145 patterns on my watchlist. No idea where they all came from :-)
I’m in the same boat as Silvia.

Vicky, I like your monster—it looks totally funny :-)

Oh, how cute—and she even has hair! She’s dressed so nicely. It’s almost enough to make me want another one, but my two are already in their doll stroller—that’s enough for me. If I had more space, I’d buy an Amelie like that, too.
Have fun with her!

Love, Andrea

Thank you, Anja. That would be a good idea. I already have a few squares put together—maybe a small blanket. We’ll see.

I finished a little UFO today. All that was left was to sew on the ears. Bring on Easter!

It’s always such a treat to admire these wonderful creations.

You’ve all been so hard at work. I’ve been crocheting little mosaics again.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Thank you, Josefa, and I wish everyone else here a relaxing weekend as well. Temperatures are above freezing, and the sun is supposed to come out. It only made a brief appearance this afternoon.
I have the day off and am enjoying this time doing crafts, DIY projects, bullet journaling, etc.
I don’t have anything new on my crochet hook either, but I’m always trying out new patterns in mosaic crochet. You can find tons of patterns for that online.

Stay healthy, everyone, and to those who are sick, get well soon

warm regards from me

Dear Ina, your creativity knows no bounds. You never cease to amaze us.
I’ve never seen such a lovely idea before. Beautiful.

Ina is so multi-talented.

Have a wonderful, creative crafting weekend, everyone

Best regards, Andrea

I tried using decorative pebbles once—it works, too.

It’s snowed again here

Winter greetings from Brandenburg. It snowed again—which has become rather rare these days.

Have a relaxing weekend.

Best wishes from me

Awesome, Inge. Your little spring tree looks really great. It really gets you in the mood for spring.
Was that another one of your own creations, or was it based on a template?

No one likes a lot of sewing when it comes to amigurumi. I prefer patterns where the arms and legs are crocheted right into the body—that saves you the hassle of sewing them on later.

But you have to crochet the limbs first in order to incorporate them later. In some patterns, even the heads are crocheted right in from the start. So you crochet everything in one piece, from the bottom up. That works.

Small parts, like the snout and ears, sometimes have to be sewn on. I hope that was explained clearly enough.

Thanks, Josefa. Same to you. The 🌞 is shining here, and I have to work.

Hugs, Andrea😎

What a lovely idea, Veronika. It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.

Wow Ina, what a pretty, colorful bag. It really brightens up the day. Great job.

Have a lovely evening
Lots of love, Andrea

All the best to you, Inge.
