I don’t need to buy anything—I still have plenty of everything, and there’s more waiting in the wings. Fabric really does pile up so quickly. New fabric just adds to the pressure. So I’m very happy with things just the way they are right now.

I want to use up a bit of my “Mount Wolli” stash before I buy new yarn. As for fabrics, I’m looking for a comfortable denim-like fabric, because I’d like to sew my husband a comfortable pair of pants for at home. If there’s one thing he doesn’t like, it’s sweatpants and the like, so I need a soft bi-stretch denim; he’ll accept that.
I have a jeans pattern lying around and have already sewn him pants from this pattern several times.

I still have plenty in stock, but a few days ago I bought just a single 100-gram skein of white—I needed it for my mosaic granny squares. Other than that, I’ve stayed strong.

I’m trying to work through my yarn little by little. I also still have some yarn I don’t like—I just can’t bring myself to use it.

I feel like I’ve been caught red-handed—thanks to akela, this chaos now has a name: “Mount Wolli.” 
But I still gave in. I’m finally finishing up a UFO—the Lilly baby blanket for my granddaughters. For that, I still needed a few individual skeins from my favorite online shop for yarn, fabric, and accessories. Then, by chance, a flyer from the same store arrived featuring discounted yarns, an additional 10% off, and free shipping on orders over €75—and just like that, another one was added to my carefully organized clear storage boxes full of yarn. 

I made another big purchase.....

The Schachenmayr factory outlet right around the corner from me had its last day yesterday. So I went there again last week and filled up my shopping cart. 

But now I’m definitely done with shopping.......—how many times have I written that already? 

Actually, I stayed strong. But then I ended up buying two skeins for a Crochet-a-Long. I’d really like to crochet that shawl.

And yet I’ve done it again—busted! Beautiful fabric!

My “Mount Wolli” has grown another few centimeters today… I was at the craft fair in Erlangen. And what can I say—with so many talented wool dyers there, I just couldn’t resist and picked up a lovely skein in shades of Erika and green, plus three skeins of sock yarn 🧶🧶🧶—including patterns for three knitted shawls 😊 And various stitch markers wanted to come along too…along with beads and a diamond painting. Guess I’ll have to go on a “yarn diet” for another year😉
