Since the painters are coming next week, I’ve already cleared out a lot of stuff; there’s not much left to do. Tomorrow I’ll be spending the whole day with my family—I’m really looking forward to it; it’s always so nice. The weather’s supposed to be pretty nice too—cold, sure, but dry, and that’s the main thing.
And on Sunday afternoon, some dear friends are coming to visit.
We have a long weekend in Cologne—Rosenmontag is like a holiday—so I’ll have plenty of time to put away the last few things; the painters aren’t coming until Ash Wednesday. I was able to get rid of a lot of stuff through classified ads, but for the rest I’ll have to schedule a bulk trash pickup after all—but there’s plenty of time, since the new furniture won’t arrive for another 2 to 3 weeks.

Today is one of my grandsons’ birthdays; he’s turning 29. Yesterday I asked my daughter, “Can you tell me where all the years have gone???????” Since I’m still not fit, I’m staying away from the party—first, I don’t want to infect anyone, and second, I don’t want to suffer a setback.
I’m knitting; I’ve got a hat on the needles, so I’m keeping busy and can set it aside anytime when I don’t feel like it anymore.

Today we took a lovely stroll through the Duisburg Zoo. And look who lives there—so cute:

Wishing everyone a wonderful Sunday. I’m enjoying my day off, doing some crafts and experimenting (I always switch between bullet journaling, crocheting, diamond painting, or making cards) depending on what I feel like doing.

My old die-cutting machine gave out—I cranked it a little too hard, and snap, it broke.
I have a new Big Shot now, and I’m testing it out, die-cutting like crazy.

Does anyone else have a Double Do? I still have some plates left over, if anyone’s interested.
