Start of Spring 2025: Can You Feel It Yet?

Dear community,
meteorologically speaking, spring has already begun. Have you noticed any signs of it yet, or is spring still taking its time?

Here in Main-Franconia, spring is in full swing—nothing but sunshine and temperatures up to 12°+ today. Although we’re still getting frost at night—down to -4°—we’re enjoying the most wonderful spring weather during the day :-)))))))

We went for a walk today.
We heard some birds, saw a few of them, and the little flowers are out too.

Yes, the nights are still really cold, but the birds are singing their hearts out, and during the day in the sunshine, it’s already really nice. And quite a few little green leaves are already sprouting on some trees and shrubs! Wonderful!

Yes, yesterday while I was out for a walk, the first signs of spring appeared. Glorious 🌞 sunshine, wonderful air. That’s how I’m enjoying my day off.

Yes, definitely in my garden. Everything is coming up and blooming beautifully. 

Primroses in many colors, snowdrops, and the wild crocuses.

I’ve been in the garden for three days now, enjoying it as well as the patio. My little house is being aired out — it’s simply a lovely time of anticipation.
