Hardworking little helpers: What are you working on this week?

Dear community,
dear little helpers,
what are you working on right now / this week? Are you busy crafting—and in real life, too?

Oh yes, both. In real life, we’re renovating and partly redecorating; tomorrow we’ll be setting up the first new pieces, and I’ve got an Easter bunny on my crochet hook right now—it’s about time.

I’m making little felt birds as a spring greeting. 
I already gave one to a doctor's assistant today, and she was delighted. 
I’d like to make one every day. One for myself and one to give away to bring someone joy. 
I’m crocheting a dress and 2 jackets, and I’m also knitting a jacket. 

My DF stole has grown quite a bit over the last few days. Unfortunately, things aren’t going so well in real life right now, since my back problems are really limiting my mobility, and I also have to deal with quotes from contractors and insurance companies (water damage caused by a tree root). Luckily, knitting distracts me and helps me relax!

I’m crocheting a triangular shawl using the filet crochet technique, and I’m knitting two sweaters and some socks. It’s good to have a little variety.

Petra, your placemat looks really great. Are the rows topstitched there? It looks nice and even.

I’m crocheting these flip-flop bag charms again

@Andrea—yes, some of the strips are quilted. Unfortunately, mine don’t turn out even. I actually cut the pieces very precisely and line up the fabrics exactly, but even so, they often don’t line up by about 0.5 cm in the end. That might not sound like much, but when I sew lots of strips together, it really adds up.

But I don’t think it’s such a big deal for a project like this placemat—they’re old fabrics, it’s supposed to look a little shabby, and it’s handmade. It’s one-of-a-kind—so it works for me.
