Well, everyone, here I am again. It’s perfect knitting weather here today, and I have something to show you once more. But first, I’ll take a look at what lovely things are on display here.
Wow, Ines, those wedding cakes are true works of art, but yours looks the most delicious to me. You’ll surely whip up something beautiful for your husband’s 60th birthday, too. I’m curious to see what you’ve got on your needles and will be showing us soon.
Marion, your case is pretty again, too.
Ina, I feel the same way. When it’s summer outside, the computer takes a back seat. And I rarely even have my cell phone turned on. I feel most at ease “off the leash”… ;-)
Your pond looks huge! Wow! Now I can really see it for what it is. You’ve put a ton of work into it. Basically, the greatest joy now is designing everything with plants—and maybe even some living creatures? You’ve created a real idyll there.
I’ve been busy too. My cardigan is almost finished. I still need to add the buttons, and I have to sew the pockets on the inside. I’m totally in love with the cardigan and will definitely be wearing it quite often. Here’s what it looks like now:
And on the side, I’ve finished one swing for the squirrels, and the second one is in the works. I want to have it done by the day after tomorrow at the latest, so both can go into the washing machine to be felted. Then they’ll be off to a wildlife rehabilitator. Here’s what the two swings look like now:
And here’s a recent photo of my two babies. I think these colors look good on Tommi, too. After all, men wear pink shirts and T-shirts, too.
Since we’re having guests over on Tuesday, I probably won’t get much knitting done for a week. After that, I want to start a double-faced project again—probably the Paris motif. I’m already looking forward to knitting it in the garden.
Have a great rest of the weekend, everyone, and a good week ahead!
