Hardworking little helpers: How are you kicking off June?

Dear users, dear authors,
dear little helpers,
what are you working on? How are you kicking off June?

I’m starting with children’s clothing for our children’s food bank. I have tons of blouses and shirts in my closet that I’ve only worn once or twice, and now they’re just taking up space. I’m going to repurpose them into little pants and tops. The stuff is too good to throw away, and I can’t give it to a clothing collection because it’s all tailored to me, since I’m uneven in length on one side. So I’m taking it apart and making something new from it for children

I’m currently designing new hexagons, maybe for a blanket, and a baby is on the way, so I’m also experimenting and doing some test crochet for a blanket. I’d like to try a new pattern. 

I crocheted a little bag for the vaccination card using Tunisian crochet.

I’m working on the next one now.

Inge, that’s a great idea. I used to sew clothes for my son out of my old, discarded clothes, too.

I’m still knitting my jacket. It’ll definitely be finished in June. Next up are homes for squirrels in need of care again.
