Friday is the best day of the week because the whole weekend is ahead of all of us. You can make plans and look forward to your free time. Maybe a bit of crafting is one of your favorite leisure activities, too. Then I’m happy to recommend a few of my ideas for you to make.

Warm regards and wishing you a lovely weekend - Ina

Summer Fashion for Small Dolls

You can crochet everything you see in the photo. There are 6 models that can be wonderfully combined with each other. And you only ever need a few grams of yarn.

Colorful Craft Bucket
This can brighten up a weekend, too. You need lots of different colors, and then you’re ready to go. We basically crochet a cover for a plastic bucket. The cover has lots of pockets all around for crochet hooks and the like. Your current crochet project goes into the bucket. That way you always have everything together and can quickly move from place A to place B.

Square Rug “Colorful”
This one is crocheted from leftovers, too. You can make it as large as you like. Every rug will be one of a kind because everyone uses different colors and different color combinations. Crocheting the rug is a lot of fun—and it looks good afterward, too.

This coming weekend, it might even be possible to do some crafting outdoors again for the first time in quite a while. That would be really lovely! Here are three motif suggestions from me - depending on the yarn you use, you can knit them into a cuddly cloth, a gentle washcloth for your face, or even potholders. All three models are knitted in double-face. If you prefer to crochet, you can also find the same three motifs as crochet patterns in my shop.

The Shades of Understatement shoulder wrap is quickly knitted from 200g of yarn with a yardage of 250m per 100g. The patterns are suitable for beginners and explained in detail.

The Fargerik triangular shawl is great for knitting with leftover yarn. The pattern in the colorful center section is knitted continuously and is absolutely easy and TV-friendly.
You’ll need 100g in sock yarn weight, plus an additional 7x 20g of leftovers.

The Sofia reversible cowl is knitted with just 100g of Sofia (320m per 100g).
The great thing about the pattern is that the cowl can be worn on both sides, since it is knitted using only knit and purl stitches.

Crocheting a few pretty bookmarks is an ideal weekend project. They’re quick to make, you can easily conjure them up from small amounts of leftover yarn, and you don’t even have to go out and buy extra yarn. Make a few to keep in stock right away, so you’ll always have a little gift on hand!

Here are a few suggestions for you:

If you love animals, you’re sure to like this cute fox bookmark. It is crocheted from cotton yarn; fringed yarn was used only for the bushy tail. You can also crochet the tail with acrylic or mohair yarn and then brush it vigorously to make it fluffy.

If you enjoy reading funny books, you’re sure to love this humorous clown bookmark. You can crochet the clown however you like using lots of colorful cotton scraps.

And for fairy tale fans, we have the Frog Prince bookmark. It is very easy to make. All you need is some green, yellow, and white cotton yarn.

Have fun crocheting and reading!

Fluxi the Edge Sitter, a feast for the eyes on your shelf.
Fluxi’s family is quite extensive:
Fluxi’s mom was a lynx, Fluxi’s dad a fox, Grandma Fluxi a nice little house cat, and Grandpa Fluxi... well, unfortunately nobody really knows what happened there

How about a pretty, colorful raglan dress? It fits 2–3-year-olds and is a joy to knit.

The doll mom will definitely be happy to dress her little darling (43–50 cm) in something new. These overalls are quick to knit and look super cute when worn.

And since a baby doll needs a diaper, too—here it is. Easy to crochet and easy to put on.

Small projects from the leftovers and one-skein stash for the weekend

Crochet pattern for a balloon cover - the balloon is well protected from bursting. The cover made from individual granny squares washes quickly.

Crochet pattern for a headband - can easily be adjusted in height and head circumference to the desired size.

Knitting pattern for baby shoes in a braided pattern - knitted with a set of double-pointed needles

Knitting pattern for a dishcloth - potholder - coaster

Knit and purl stitches are used

Knitting pattern for spiral socks - these socks are knitted without a heel, so they fit across several sizes
