Summer plans: what are you up to?

Dear users, dear authors,
Do you have any plans for the summer?

If the numbers keep going down and my husband gets vaccinated before then, we’d like to take a trip to Hamburg this summer and do a photo shoot in the Speicherstadt. Otherwise, we’ll just have to wait and see what else the pandemic has in store, because we’re not going to take any unnecessary risks.

We’re staying home. A vacation isn’t financially possible for us.

Since we live in a beautiful area, we’ll think of something.

And we’re unvaccinated, even though I’m in the second vaccination group due to illness and medication; nothing is happening for me.

We’ve moved our vacation to late August–early September, since it’s almost impossible to find apartments at reasonable prices during school break. In July, we’re planning a short trip to visit my sister in the Engadin, and hopefully we’ll have the chance to go on some nice day hikes as well.

Gabi, we’re also unvaccinated and are enjoying our garden. We’re healthy and doing great.
We might take a short trip to see our grandchildren at Lake Constance in June. We’ll decide that on the spur of the moment. Other than that, we’re only planning short trips in the surrounding area.

Since we’d already booked our vacation rental last summer and the COVID-19 situation now allows it, we have to go—otherwise we’ll have to pay for it. That means two relaxing weeks on the balcony and a bit of walking, since I still can’t put my full weight on my foot.
