This is a lightweight hat for transitional weather, knitted from sock yarn.

The hat comes in four different sizes, for children through adults.

While many people are still walking around barefoot in summer, in fall you can quickly end up with cold toes after all. Warm socks are the perfect solution!
With these, you can use your colorful sock yarns. The knitting pattern is a slipped-stitch pattern that shows off yarns with strong contrasts or color gradients especially well.

I wouldn't necessarily recommend this pattern for beginners; it's more for people who already have a bit of experience with lace patterns. It starts at the bottom with large diamonds, which get smaller and smaller toward the top until they disappear completely in the decreases.

It's actually a very ordinary ribbed scarf, knitted from wool with a yardage of 300 m per 100 g—if it weren't for the slip-stitch cables that travel from one side to the other and back again within the ribbing. Personally, I find this type of cable very easy to knit; you don't even need a cable needle for it. But of course, you can use one if you like.

This triangular shawl is ideal for late summer days and for when the nights are already getting cool, and it’s very relaxing to knit.

The pattern is simple; you just have to pay a little attention to the zigzag edge, but that’s no big deal either. The shawl pictured is made from sock yarn. However, the pattern works with any type of yarn. You start at the bottom tip and just keep knitting for as long as you like. The result is a wonderfully soft and cozy shawl.
