In rich yellow, this potholder looks like a ray of sunshine in any kitchen. Of course, you don't necessarily have to knit it in yellow; it also looks great in other colors.

Here is the pattern.

The pattern is simple and easy for beginners to manage, too. You need to know how to knit and purl stitches. Knitted in thick cotton, it also gives you a sense of achievement very quickly.

A crocheted scarf in the colors of a summer meadow will put you in a good mood. A simple pattern made with double crochets and chain stitches, with a few cables in between, which are clearly explained in a photo tutorial. You’ll need two 100 g skeins of sock yarn for it.

You can find out more about it here.

Yellow and orange always put me in a summery mood. Even more so in combination with the crocheted palm tree motif on the Mochila bag. It’s very easy to crochet using only single crochet stitches and makes a great accessory for a trip to the pool or a stroll through town.
It uses a gradient yarn cake, which creates gradual color transitions like a sunset. You’ll also need black cotton for the palm tree motif.

You can find all the details here:

How about a crocheted circus? A few wild animals and a circus wagon - a great way to use up your leftover yellow yarn! You can place little dolls (e.g. Playmobil) or finger puppets inside the circus wagon. The two lions would fit in there too. You can crochet everything with beginner-level skills and a little leftover yarn.

You’ll find more animals and a clown in my shop!

Knitted Shirt/Pullover “ALGARVE” - shown here in neon yellow:

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Two in one pattern:
Sleeveless long shirt, ideal for leggings, and with sleeves, a cotton pullover knitted in a simple lace pattern . Due to the pattern, it results in ONE SIZE for women’s sizes 38 - 44. Smaller sizes can be worn as “oversized.” Weight gains and losses are therefore no problem.

Material:
300 g (without sleeves) / 550 g (pullover) Austermann Algarve, 100% cotton;
50 g – 142 m, for needle size 2.5 – 3.5; here: knitting needle 3.5, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle, row counter helpful but not absolutely required. Gauge according to the yarn label: 27 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

The PDF pattern contains the cover image; additional images are not included due to the simple cut.

Basic knitting skills are sufficient, including yarn over, knit 2 stitches together, slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit 1 stitch and pass slipped stitch over (explained).

Knitting Pattern Hat ALL-SEASON BEANIE from Sock Yarn

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This fashionable all-season beanie is made with knitting needles in various sizes (the brim with size 3.5 needles, the main part with size 6.0 needles, the decreases with 4.5 and 4.0) and, for the decoration, with a crochet hook size 3.0 - 4.0. Just 70 g of 6-ply sock yarn is enough; usually 1 skein has 150 g. So with the leftover yarn, you can easily knit a small cowl or even 1 pair of socks up to shoe size 36/37.

Note: a sock knitting course for 6-ply sock yarn is available here:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/22205/strickanleitung-socken-aus-6-faedigem-garn-lehrgang-mit-tabellen-fuer-alle-groessen

These knitting skills are needed:
knit stitches, purl stitches, knitting in the round, right-leaning lifted decreases. Crochet skills: chain stitches, slip stitches

Difficulty level: intermediate, easy for experienced knitters

Matches the all-season beanie:

Multifunctional loop bolero kidney warmer shoulder warmer hat scarf, knitted

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This versatile loop (wrapped twice around the neck) is knitted in the round using 150 g of 6-ply sock yarn, but with a 6.0 mm circular knitting needle (cable length at least 80 cm to 100 cm)  in the same yarn as the “all-season beanie.”

The PDF pattern is illustrated, but it is not a basic knitting course. General knitting skills are required.

By the way: for sizes L-XL, the “bolero” fits in such a way that it can also be called a “kidney warmer.” For smaller clothing sizes, this area hangs in a stylishly casual way.
The hat scarf does not completely cover the back of the head; this shows off long hair in a fashionable way.

This pretty little heart is quick to crochet and looks charming in every color. You can crochet it as a small, loving gift for someone dear, as a bag charm, or as decor for a child's room. It also makes a lovely eye-catcher as a scented sachet in the wardrobe whenever you open it.

The crochet pattern is very well suited for beginners; for pros, a crochet chart is also included. Anyone can do it! You'll see ... it's very easy to crochet, and
you'll quickly have something truly special to bring joy to yourself or
someone else.

Material:
  • 25 g cotton yarn with a yardage of 125 m/50 g (e.g., Bingo Linie 163)
  • size 3 crochet hook
  • some synthetic stuffing or other filling material
I hope you have lots of fun with this project. Yours, Ina

Little ones like bright colors, and we want them to have warm little feet. With hand-knitted felted slippers, you can have both: felted slippers in their favorite color and cozy, warm felt. Either knit them as felted booties with a rolled cuff ...

or as moccasins:

In both cases, you’ll knit a pair of beautiful, cozy, and original slippers—the washing machine takes care of the felting.

With both patterns, you can knit felted shoes in all shoe sizes. I explain and show the knitting and felting in great detail. The patterns are also perfectly suitable for beginners at knitting and felting.

I hope you have lots of fun with them and always have warm feet. Yours, Ina

This little basket is just one possible variation that you can crochet using the Basket with Mesh Pattern pattern. You can make the basket in all sizes and colors. Feel free to take a look at my examples.

You are also flexible when it comes to the yarn to use. The amount of material needed changes depending on the basket size. Once you have crocheted one basket, you can crochet baskets in all sizes—the principle always stays the same. On the left in the picture with the red basket, you can see that only 1 apple fits inside; I crocheted this basket from regular Bravo yarn. On the right in the picture, I used a thicker yarn(´ (Twister Meran) and crocheted a large basket, e.g. for yarn supplies, using the same pattern. So anything is possible.

In the freshly revised crochet pattern, I describe and show everything in great detail.

I hope you have lots of fun with this project. Yours, Ina

Knitted in sunny colors, this bag is fun to make even as you’re working on it. Once it’s finished, it’s a colorful and very useful accessory that’s sure to draw admiring glances—for example, at the farmers’ market.

A shopping bag in Caribbean colors.

You’ll need thick cotton yarn in two different colors and a 5mm circular needle. The color effect is created by a simple slipped stitch pattern.
