Crochet pattern Hulda, the friendly garden spider - great for a weekend

---> Here’s the pattern

Toward the end of summer, they come out of every corner again and can be found on every bush - GARDEN SPIDERS. Personally, I have a panicky fear of spiders, so as a bit of self-therapy I designed this little friendly spider together with its web :) With a spider like this in the house, you can live with it :)

Hulda is very easy to crochet and can also be made by beginners with a little practice.

Difficulty level: Easy

What you’ll need:

Materials: Gründl Happy yarn (250 m per 100 g) (beige– approx. 50 - 60 g - , Gründl Lisa yarn 20-30 g dark brown, a little black, 30 – 40 g white and a little red), stuffing, either buttons or googly eyes, 3.5 mm hook, yarn needle and scissors
Almost all parts are worked in spiral rounds and joined together later.

What you need to know
:

chain stitches, single crochet and half double crochet

Cuddle up, feel good, and look chic—you can do all of that with the shawl named "Vesuv". Its beautiful pattern makes it an instant eye-catcher.
It offers many different ways to wear it, whether as a scarf around your neck or as a stole for cool summer evenings.
Using the specified yarn and hook size, the shawl measures approx. 1.75 m x 0.42 m when blocked, but the length and width can be adjusted individually.

It is relatively easy to crochet, so ambitious beginners should not have any problems. You should only have knowledge of chain stitches,
half double crochet, double crochet, and front post double crochet
stitches.

Click here to go to the pattern:

Materials:
  • A 4-ply Woolly Hugs BOBBEL-COTTON (50% cotton, 50% polyacrylic, yardage = 800 m/200 g) in color no. 04 was used here. Of course, you can also use any other yarn you like.
  • Any crochet hook that matches the yarn (here size 3.5)

When blocked and using the specified yarn and hook size, the shawl measures approx. 2.00 m x 0.70 m. You can crochet it using written instructions, or work from the crochet chart.

Click here to go to the pattern:

For a “hyggelig” weekend
- I love the Danish word for “cozy” - in the Alemannic-speaking region, we have a very similar word for it: HEIMELIG!! We make ourselves cozy indoors when it gets unpleasant outside. For relaxing moments on the sofa with hot tea and a pretty knitting project! With the hand-knitted MOLLY hot water bottle cover, cuddling up in the colder season is even more wonderful, so start knitting in good time before fall!

Material: 100 g Malabrigo Rios, color “Indiecita”, knitting needles size 4 - 4.5, set of double-pointed needles size 4, one hot water bottle (approx. 19 x 32 cm including neck, e.g. from fashy)

Difficulty level:
Intermediate

Required knitting skills:
Working from a knitting chart, casting on and binding off stitches, knit and purl stitches, slip stitches, decreases, increases from the strand between stitches, knitting in the round with a set of double-pointed needles

Get the knitting pattern right here:
MOLLY hot water bottle cover

Wishing you a relaxing knitting weekend,

It’s raining here, so it’s going to be a cozy weekend on the sofa. When it’s so gloomy outside, I like to stretch out for a bit after a meal too. Before you know it, a few hours have gone by. Oops! But afternoon nappers need a suitable pillow.

You can find it here.

It’s knitted from cotton (140 m/50 g) in two different colors. The interwoven color effect comes from a slip-stitch pattern. It looks very complicated, but it isn’t.
The finished pillow cover fits a 30 x 30 cm pillow.

The weekend is also a great time to tackle larger knitting projects. How about a warm shawl for those chilly fall days?

Here is the pattern.

Knitted from pure merino wool, it’s wonderfully soft and cozy. Of course, you can also use other types of yarn. The pattern is very flexible—you can extend or shorten it as needed to adapt it to different yarns.
This stole is knitted lengthwise. It features a simple lace pattern interspersed with cables. The pattern is written out row by row and also includes a knitting chart.

You can also start with a scarf; fall is already knocking at the door. This one has a simple rib pattern combined with a simple lace pattern. Even inexperienced knitters can give it a try without any problem.
The scarf is knitted in sock yarn, and the amount needed depends on the desired length.

You can find the pattern here.

The weekend is already feeling a bit like fall this time around... Maybe you’d like to crochet this cute fall decoration? The Chestnut Child has woken up and wants to play with the fallen chestnuts. Will you join in?
The Chestnut Child is about 12 cm tall and has movable joints so you can position it in different ways. You’ll need cotton yarn in two different weights: green for a 2 mm hook (Catania fine) and brown and skin-tone for a 2.5 mm hook (Catania), plus possibly some brown mohair yarn for the hair, some chenille wire (pipe cleaners), and stuffing.
The pattern includes instructions for the Chestnut Child, the chestnuts, and a chestnut leaf. You can download it here!

The simple pattern, which works up quickly in crochet, makes this shawl absolutely suitable for beginners.

Airy and elegant triangular shawl to snuggle up in and feel good.

Cozy and soft, wonderfully loose and soft, versatile and super chic.

The crocheted shawl can be made with different yarns. Here
a Woolly Hugs BOBBEL-COTTON (50% cotton, 50% polyacrylic, yardage =

3.0 mm crochet hook.

any size you like.

Suitable for beginners.

This owl serves a very useful function as a door hanger. It is a door guard and, with its color and lettering, shows exactly whether the way is clear or not. Children especially will love it. But it is also very useful for the office, on the bathroom door, or on the restroom door.

This owl can also be worked up well with the pattern by beginners with basic crochet skills. It makes a very nice gift and is crocheted in no time.

Click here for the crochet pattern for the guard owl.
