Red is eye-catching and often very lively. If you want more attention, more spontaneity, and more liveliness in your everyday life, then simply make some of our red patterns. Have fun.

@Autoren,
2-3 patterns per author are enough. Don’t forget the link, and an image should be included too. Please also write down the usual information about the pattern.

"Rundeck" Soul Warmer (Crochet Pattern)

Not round, but not square either—and yet both at the same time—this soul warmer comes in warm shades of red.
The circle symbolizes the sun, which forms a square and, finally, a rectangle.
The crochet pattern is designed for larger bust sizes and fits roughly sizes 36 to 48 (test crocheted). The “Rundeck” soul warmer can be easily customized for these sizes.

  • Gradient yarns are particularly well suited for crocheting this project—there are no limits to your creativity when it comes to colors!
  • The size of the Rundeck is easily customizable and is designed for adults.
  • The crochet pattern is written out and explained row by row, so even beginners can follow along easily.
  • Materials (original):6 skeins of Gründl “Tahiti Batik 100 g”, color volcano, approx. 260 m running length, 100% acrylic
    Crochet hook size 3.5
Yarn needle for weaving in ends and a pair of scissors
  • Note: The material list is a suggestion for size 46/48.
If you’d like to use gradient yarn, expect a length of approx. 1,000 m for size 38 up to 1,800 m for size 48.

Knitted Shawl "Silvestranimo"

Start thinking about New Year’s Eve now and launch the fireworks!
This knitting pattern is sure to make that happen!
Fireworks rockets launch across the shawl in shades of red and purple, ultimately scattering their sparks into orange! That definitely makes it an eye-catcher!

The pattern is written out in words and explained precisely row by row, so even less experienced knitters should be able to manage it easily.
The pattern can be adapted to the yardage of your yarn, but it should not be shorter than 750 meters.

  • Material: “Feuerwerk” – by MaggieP – Wolltraeume, yardage 800 m, 4-ply wound, merino wool, circular knitting needle size 4.5
    mm, possibly 3 stitch markers
  • Size: approx. 90 x 230 cm

Red is a traditional color in traditional costume fashion. Here, Barbie is wearing a red-and-black dirndl with a green apron. The dirndl has a pretty heart border along the skirt hem. Underneath, Barbie is wearing a white blouse (which is actually crocheted on, so it doesn’t need to be put on separately). The outfit is complete with a red traditional hat, a neck ribbon, a bag, and a gingerbread heart.
It was crocheted using Catania Fine yarn and a 2 mm crochet hook.

Red - the color of love and hearts:

This cute wrap bracelet is crocheted in no time. The eye-catcher on any wrist. Super comfortable to wear - light and trendy. Also a great gift or little present to bring along.

The bracelet can also be worn as a super cute anklet. And if you simply make it longer, it becomes a chic, delicate belt.

The bracelet is crocheted in one piece, so there is no annoying weaving in
of ends (only the beginning and ending threads). So grab some yarn and a crochet hook and get started.

Here’s the pattern

Material: Anchor crochet thread Aida crochet hook 1.5 mm sewing needle
Required prior knowledge: chain stitch, slip stitch, double crochet and treble crochet

Detailed description as a PDF file with text, images, and crochet chart.

Summer is slowly coming to an end, but you can bring some of that summery flair into your home: This tea light holder will remind you of the colorful, warm summer days even on gloomy fall and winter evenings.

The tea light holder is made of photo cardstock and measures about 13 cm in diameter. It’s easy to make and very well suited for beginners. A little tip: You can also use this tea light holder as a holder for chocolates.

It doesn't really matter whether it's for "Buam" or "Madl":

Knitting pattern Baby Trachten Vest Size 86/92 with Intarsia Cable

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

And not just during Wiesn season...

For this special sleeveless baby/toddler vest without buttons, we need:

150 g merino wool gray + 50 g merino wool red, here Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine 120, 50 g – 120 m length, gauge according to the ball band: 22 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm, knitting needles 3.0–4.0; here: knitting needles 4.0, cable needle, crochet hook 3.5 for the bow, stitch holder or similar for holding stitches, yarn needle for weaving in ends, stitch marker is helpful.

The PDF pattern is illustrated.

The red cable on the back is worked in intarsia technique (illustrated explanation is included) and takes a little time and skill - so I would not recommend it for beginning knitters.

The cable also looks nice in solid gray, and then the whole piece knits up quite quickly. For beginning knitters, I therefore recommend knitting this vest completely without the cable and/or in one color .

Red is the color of love, as they say, and this scarf with knitted-in hearts is red too.

You can find the pattern here.

The pattern is simple; it consists of knit and purl stitches. There is also a knitting chart for the hearts. I knitted mine from very thick wool, but the pattern also works with other yarn weights in general.

This red summer tunic can also be worn all year round. It also looks great with a shirt underneath.

The tunic can also be made by knitting beginners with basic knowledge. In the pattern, every step is explained with photos. Size 38-42 is described, but the measurements can easily be adjusted to another size.

The tunic is knitted in one piece from the bottom up. It is only sewn together at the top at the shoulder.
