That sounds good at first, but do we want quality or quantity?

I used to be in a ship forum. There, ranks were awarded based on the number of posts made, from cabin boy to admiral, and you could see how many views each individual post had received.
At first it was still about ships and shipping, but then some people only posted links to random reports that contained the word "ship." Sure, they quickly became admirals, but there was no quality left.
Then the forum was deleted without warning, and nothing of what had been posted can still be found anywhere on the internet.

When I want to start a thread here (e.g., about outings, boat trips, or similar things), I always think about whether it is interesting enough for the readers at all. Often I just leave it, because I don't want to bore anyone.

You should read the patterns carefully beforehand and mark important parts if necessary. I’ve gotten into the habit of doing this after making careless mistakes time and again.
If a mistake does slip in, I’ll unravel the whole thing if I have to, no matter how big the project is. I’m the only one who sees the mistake, but it drives me crazy because that’s all I can see.
The biggest project that fell victim to this was a curtain. I had to unravel it from row 111 all the way down to row 10.
My sister-in-law kept saying, “There was nothing wrong with it, honestly, there was nothing wrong with it.”

The promenade really is a mile long. You’re sure to find everything you need there (or don’t need…wink).

Even if Kiel didn’t welcome you with perfect weather, it must have been a great feeling to be back on home soil.

Hi Ina,
I really like your music recommendation. I also like soft, gentle sounds, even though I’m a self-confessed fan of Schlager and folk music. It always depends on my state of mind what I’m in the mood for at the moment.
Many years ago, when I was going through a really tough time, it was the Kastelruther Spatzen who kept pulling me out of my funk.
These days, I don’t base my choices so much on the artist anymore. There are some singers I don’t really like, but they have one or two really beautiful songs that I still enjoy listening to.
My CD collection has now grown to a good 300 discs across various genres.

Whenever I head out to the Alte Land, I always bring a bag of yarn with me. My husband is always completely flabbergasted: “Are you going away for a while?” Well, with multiple colors, stuffing, and so on, you just need a bag.
Then, when I’m sitting there working on my project, he says, “Oh, there she goes making her knots again.” Last time, my bag stayed at home (he actually wanted to take it with us in the car). Then he gave me a look and said, “Why aren’t you making knots today?”
Sometimes, when he wants to “take a moment to reflect” at lunchtime, he’s actually quite happy when I’m busy crocheting. Then he can “look inward” in peace… lol.

The time change is awful. It takes me two weeks to adjust again. It’s such nonsense—it should be abolished immediately. And nobody actually saves any energy that way (which was supposedly the whole point).
Other than that, I’ll be spending the weekend on the couch.

I was searching online for unique patterns, specifically a gift for a little boy. That’s when I stumbled upon the “Auf der Landstraße” jacket by ursula-petra. That was my introduction to CP, and I’ve already made lots of great things using the patterns I bought here. They always make special gifts.
The free patterns are great, too. They let you see how they’re structured and whether you’re comfortable with that type of pattern. That’s how I ended up buying quite a few patterns.

Hello everyone,
we took a trip to Rade to Hof Bartels. They didn't have musical pumpkins like Andrea's, but there were lots of them in all sizes, shapes, and colors. They also offered farmer's golf and a corn maze. For the children, there were straw climbing hills.
The weather wasn't that great, but it was fun and definitely worth seeing.
