Christmas Mouse

I sewed another Christmas mouse today for our local children’s food bank. I plan to sew quite a few more this month, since everything has to be turned in by the end of November.

I’ve already admired your mouse in the gallery. I think the long legs are great—perfect for kids to hold onto and sniff. I’m sure your box for the food bank will be well-stocked again this year. 

That’s great, Inge, that you’re sewing things for the food bank. You’re staying in practice and doing a good deed. The mouse is sure to become a child’s favorite cuddly toy. I also like the long legs—they make it so easy to drag it around—and I think the soft fabric is great, too. It doesn’t always have to be a solid color. This makes the mouse something truly one-of-a-kind!
