Wednesday / Midweek / On to the Home Stretch

A beanie can be finished with little effort over just a few evenings during the week—especially if it’s knitted in a simple pattern. And once it’s done, you’ll be all set for fall!

The beanie can be knitted from sock yarn or slightly thicker yarn. A simple mesh pattern is fun to knit and looks great.
The pattern is available in 3 different sizes.

Triangular Shawl

You can find a new triangular shawl in my shop.

You can find the pattern for it here.

This pattern is definitely also suitable for shawl beginners. The shawl is knitted from the bottom up, mainly in garter stitch. A zigzag edge adds variety.
You can knit the shawl in any yarn you like and also in any size you like—a very versatile pattern and very relaxing to knit.

Nite Flite, the lace shawl for the sophisticated woman.

For elegant occasions when you want to dress up. This stole is knitted lengthwise using sock yarn, with the amount of yarn needed depending on the desired size. It features a delicate lace pattern at the bottom edge that fades toward the top.
A knitting chart is provided to help with the lace pattern, but the pattern is also written out row by row.

A knitted stole with a wavy lace pattern.

You can find the pattern here.

Lace Shawls

Lace at its finest is what the Snow White Shawl offers.

You can find the pattern here.

It is knitted from sock-weight yarn, ideally in two different colors, but of course that’s a matter of taste. The shawl can be knitted in any size, and the yarn requirements will depend on that. Two different lace patterns are used, written out row by row and also shown in knitting charts.
A beautiful and romantic accessory for discerning lace knitters!

Enchanting Celestial Phenomena

Rivers bathed in gentle moonlight—that was my inspiration for this pair of socks.

You can find the pattern for them here.

For this, you need sock yarn in two different colors and a 2.5 mm set of double-pointed needles. The wave pattern is shown in a knitting chart. The ribs of the cuff continue on the heel and toes.

Openwork Pattern

This scarf features lace pattern lines that run along one side. It’s knitted from 1 skein of sock yarn and gets its effect from the diagonal color gradients created by knitting it on the bias. That sounds complicated, but it’s actually quite simple. The scarf looks best in colorful yarns with color gradients, but of course you can also knit it in a solid color. The length and width can be varied as desired — and you can also use the pattern to knit a much wider shawl.

Openwork Pattern

A knitted scarf with a lace pattern that’s a little out of the ordinary.

You can find the pattern here.

You’ll need a 100g skein (or two 50g skeins) of sock yarn and 3.5mm knitting needles. A photo tutorial explains how to make the holes. There’s also a knitting chart and a row-by-row written pattern. Curious?

Enchanting Celestial Phenomena

Rain also comes from the clouds, and we often have mixed feelings about it. I like it a lot. It brings us the water we all need, and I find days when it is gently pattering outside very cosy. This knitted triangular shawl is inspired by rain.

You can find the pattern here.

The shawl is knitted from sock yarn on 4 mm needles and has a lace pattern that is reminiscent of falling rain. The pattern is written out row by row and is also shown in knitting charts.

Enchanting Celestial Phenomena

Snow is falling here from fluffy white clouds. You might not want to see that right now, but there’s no helping it.

Here’s the hat with a winter landscape.

Besides, it doesn’t hurt to plan ahead in good time. The hat is knitted with yarn that has a yardage of 150 m per 50 g; blue and white would be ideal. The winter motif is shown in a knitting chart, and the pattern is available for 3 different sizes.
