here in this thread there is room for all patterns that you can make in the garden. I hope the sun is shining for all of you. If the sun hides behind the clouds, that's no problem. Just download yellow patterns from the Crazypatterns shop, or make your favorite pattern with yellow yarn, yellow fabric, or yellow craft cardstock. That way you can keep the sunshine with you.

When the first warm days arrive, we all feel drawn outside. But that doesn’t mean you have to give up your beloved handicrafts. On the contrary: the little primrose flower child is especially nice to finish in the garden among spring flowers and the coffee table. That way, you can compare your work with the original again and again in between. It can be finished in 1–2 afternoons.

When I’m in the garden, I often get a visit from my neighbor’s dog. Probably not because he wants to see what I’m doing, but rather in the hope of finding a treat in my pocket.

This little fluffy guy is crocheted with cotton yarn (approx. 95g–100g/530m).
Chain stitches, single crochet, and half double crochet. A few increases and decreases, and this little ray of sunshine is almost done. From beginners to pros...you’ve got to love Othello!

With these flowers, you’ll have a little sunshine in your home no matter the weather. And if you make the bouquet in the garden when the first truly warm rays of sunshine appear, it will remind you of that warmth even in winter.


 
The flowers are made from cardstock and crepe paper and are about 30–33 cm tall. Templates for two flower sizes are included. They aren’t hard to make and are suitable even for beginners.

The giraffe is made with Filigran crochet yarn and stands about 27 cm tall. A hook size of No. 2–2.5 is recommended. You’ll also need some stuffing, 2 toy eyes (7 mm), and a blunt needle. If you prefer to crochet with thicker yarn, the neck will be a bit tricky. But Peppi also looks great as a floppy toy. At least that’s what my neighbor’s daughter says ;-) Magic ring, single crochet, and increases and decreases. With about 35–40 g of yarn, the giraffe will be finished very quickly and can move into your home :-) Have fun crocheting :-)

Knitting fun and good cheer are guaranteed with this shawl! Even the name evokes summer, sun, and sunshine. The asymmetrical “Sunflowers” shawl offers something for every knitting taste. Cables, lace patterns, and a stockinette-stitch section ensure it’s anything but boring. I designed the shawl so that you can knit until the yarn runs out, minimizing leftovers. That’s why it’s no problem to work with thinner yarn.

When the sun doesn’t feel like shining, you can bring it onto your knitting needles with the pattern for the Amber Shawl.

The shawl is knitted sideways, from the narrow side to the wide side. This allows you to adjust it to your desired size.

Alternating between sections knitted in garter stitch and two easy-to-knit pattern sections makes for a relaxing knitting experience.

I used 100 grams of Die Feine by Faerbstoff, with a yardage of 700 meters/100 grams, in the color Amber.
