When it’s as unpleasant outside as it is right now, you long for cozy handmade projects to make yourself comfortable. This project is just right for that. You can make the felted booties in all colors and all sizes for yourselves, your family, and your family. They are knitted, and the washing machine takes care of the felting. In the knitting and felting pattern, I explain and show you everything in detail.

Best wishes, and have a lovely rest of the week - yours, Ina

And if you still have some felting wool left over from the little boots, you can very quickly DIY a pair of wonderfully thick, soft, and warm felt insoles . They go in the children's rubber boots or clogs, or in your husband's fishing boots. You can also make them ahead of time for your own winter boots. They cushion your step like a thick pad and keep your feet warm from below. They don't absorb odors, which is also a plus :-)

Here you can see two small, standard 1-kg plastic buckets that have been fitted with colorful covers. The bright colors instantly lift your spirits—so it doesn’t even matter that it’s raining outside. You can crochet these pretty containers for all sorts of odds and ends in a totally relaxed way. And don’t worry about weaving in the ends—I’ll show you my tricks for skipping that step. These crochet patterns are also especially well-suited for beginners. And they’re a great way to use up your leftover yarn.

Materials:
  • 60 or 70 g of colorful cotton yarn scraps of the same weight (125 m/50 g), e.g., “Linie 163” by ONline or “Catania” by Schachenmayr
  • 1 or 2 plastic buckets (1 kg capacity, size: 13 cm x 13 cm)
  • Size 3 crochet hook

Best regards—Ina

Necklaces, simple or playful
The bow necklace is worked relatively simply with easy arcs.
The lace necklace, on the other hand, is a bit more playful with its many little points.
Both designs can be combined in many ways and can be matched to your fashion through the choice of color.
A few beads make the necklace more elegant and turn it into a delightful eye-catcher.
That way you’ll have the perfect necklace for every occasion.

    Hedgehog Egg Cozy Crochet Pattern
Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

This cute and funny hedgehog couple brightens up any breakfast table and puts a smile on your face first thing in the morning ;-). Not only do they reliably keep your breakfast eggs warm, they also make great fall decorations for your home. They also make a super cute eye-catching gift! What you’ll need:
    • Approx. 12g of yarn in brown (e.g. Cotone fine by Lana Grossa, 100% cotton). Scraps in beige or light brown. Your yarn should definitely be suitable for a 2mm crochet hook
    • 2mm crochet hook
    • Stuffing
    • Scissors, darning needle, stitch marker
    • 6mm safety eyes, black thread for embroidering the nose and eyebrows

Difficulty level: medium to easy. You should definitely already have some crochet experience and be able to do the following: make a magic ring, increase and decrease single crochet, sew the various parts together, and work single crochet, slip stitches, and chain stitches. At the beginning of the pattern, I explain in detail how to crochet the bobbles that represent the spikes. The pattern includes 12 pages with pictures showing everything step by step. I also show you how to sew the individual parts together in pictures.

Midweek slump? Definitely not with this pattern. This triangular shawl named "Starlight" looks especially beautiful with gradient yarn.
The different stitch patterns are downright addictive. It offers many different ways to wear it, whether as a scarf around your neck, as a stole, or as a shawl for cool summer evenings.

When blocked and using the specified yarn and hook size, the shawl measures: 1.85 m x 0.75 m. You can crochet it from written instructions or work from a crochet chart.

Click here to go to the pattern:

    Materials needed:
    • a 4-strand gradient yarn with a total yardage of 800 m was used here; of course, you can also make it with other yarns/wool
    • any crochet hook suitable for the yarn (here size 3.5)

    Difficulty level: Very easy

    What you need:

    Approx. 200 g of each of two different colors (e.g., turquoise/white here) – polyester yarn: 100 g = yardage 250 m –, recommended hook size 3–3.5
    Hook size used: 4

    What you need to know:

Chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet

A beanie can be finished with little effort over just a few evenings during the week—especially if it’s knitted in a simple pattern. And once it’s done, you’ll be all set for fall!

The beanie can be knitted from sock yarn or slightly thicker yarn. A simple mesh pattern is fun to knit and looks great.

in of ends (just the starting and ending threads). So grab some yarn and a crochet hook and get started.
