Crochet Pattern Set Baby 0-12 Months (Wrap Jacket and Pants)

I crocheted a beautiful baby set for you, with a wrap jacket and romper pants.

The two patterns are also available individually here:
Crochet Pattern Pants Baby 0-12 Months
Crochet Pattern Wrap Jacket Baby 0-12 Months

The lovely but fairly simple pattern gives this set a beautiful texture without any complicated crochet techniques.
I have explained everything in great detail, step by step, with lots of pictures, so that anyone can crochet this set for babies from 0-12 months.

Only conditionally suitable for beginners. If you would still like to give it a try, I’ll be happy to offer advice.

I crocheted size 74/80. I have also described the details for sizes 50/56 and 62/68 in detail. The pants are crocheted in rows at the beginning and later in rounds, and are finished with a drawstring casing. The jacket consists of a back piece, 2 front pieces, and sleeves. Everything is crocheted in rows here and sewn together later.

Contents of the pattern:
  • Material information
  • Gauge
  • Step by step, each piece individually
  • “little crochet school”
  • lots of pictures for the description
Material
  • “Belle” by DROPS, several colors (approx. 450 g)
  • Crochet hook 4.0
  • Sewing needle
  • Ribbon for drawstring casing (or shoelace)
  • 3 buttons
What is crocheted
  • Chain stitches
  • Slip stitches
  • Single crochet
  • Half double crochet

Baby booties are definitely part of the outfit.
These little shoes are knitted with two needles, so there’s no juggling with several needles, and it’s much more fun. You start with the sole. In four stages, you work your way from bottom to top. Don’t they look cool?

Knitting pattern for baby shoes 0–3 months

Materials needed: 30 g white yarn, 30 g purple yarn or light blue, a small amount of black, size 3 needles. I used Gründl Baby uni

These pants are a must-have for any baby outfit. They’ll grow with your baby for a while, since the cuffs can be adjusted to be longer or shorter.
Knitting pattern for cute baby pants, size 50–56

Yarn requirements: 100 g of sock yarn (as shown in the picture)—it’s soft and washes well on the wool cycle. 1 leftover amount of about 30 g in a contrasting color. 2 size 3 needles. I always use Gründl yarn—it’s great for knitting. The pants are knitted from the bottom up on two needles and in two pieces. By folding the cuff on the leg, you can adjust the pants to be larger or a little smaller. Knitting these baby pants is a lot of fun, and the joy of having your own hand-knitted pants will be great.

A warm hat is always a hit.

This hat for the very little ones is quick to knit. The pattern is available in sizes ranging from premature babies all the way up to adults (8 sizes). Why not go for a matching look with Mom or Dad?

It’s knitted with a set of double-pointed needles, and the pattern is explained in detail with plenty of pictures.

Whether with or without a pom-pom, this is a great way to use up leftover yarn.

There are also little booties to match the hat.

This way, the baby will be all bundled up for their first outing.

You’ll also need some practice with a set of double-pointed needles for the booties, and you should be able to knit both knit and purl stitches. About 40 g of yarn—this is another great way to use up small scraps.

Depending on the yarn meterage and needle size, the booties have a sole length of 9–10.5 cm.

You can find a baby hat with a cable from me.

Rapunzel

For this, you’ll need yarn (150 m per 50 g) in two different colors and 4 mm knitting needles. The pattern isn’t exactly easy, but it looks great. The pattern is available in 3 different sizes.

Baby Traditional Knit Cardigan Size 50/56, including a gauge conversion chart

(Click the image to purchase/download )

...THE classic traditional style in a tiny size...

For this easy-to-knit baby traditional-style cardigan, you’ll need approx. 100 g of 4-ply sock yarn in classic traditional gray + 50 g (or leftover yarn) for the edging in traditional green, 3.0 knitting needles; if needed, a 3–3.5 crochet hook for the decorative foundation chain on the front band.

The PDF pattern includes 15 images .

As a bonus, you’ll also receive a simplified version of my Excel spreadsheet for quickly converting your gauge to your desired size (applicable to all knitted/crocheted pieces; a spreadsheet program is required, e.g., Excel or LibreOffice—the latter is available for free online).

Basic knitting skills are required (i.e., these steps are not illustrated).
Required knitting skills : knitted cast-on, knit stitch, bind off, increase stitches from the strand between stitches, yarn over (for the buttonholes), knit 2 stitches together.

By the way: This jacket can also be knitted as a vest without sleeves (in which case, crochet around the armholes once in green using single crochet).
