Got lots of leftover yarn in pink? No problem! Combined with white, you can crochet a complete vacation wardrobe for Barbie dolls. That’ll use up your leftover yarn in no time, and Barbie can head off on vacation with her new wardrobe.
All 10 pieces (tunic, bikini top, bikini bottoms, sun hat, beach bag, hot pants, capri pants, top, Carmen blouse, and long skirt ) can be mixed and matched wonderfully. All pieces are quick and easy to crochet. Maybe the little doll mummy will crochet one or two pieces too? If “doll grandma” helps out, it’s sure to be a lot of fun!

Which ones are real and which ones are the crocheted ones? They’re almost impossible to tell apart! With leftover red yarn, you can crochet a truly unique and cute table decoration: the Strawberry Kid with its strawberry plant. Decorated alongside a bowl of fresh strawberries, it’s a real eye-catcher! It has movable arms and legs, so you can position it in all sorts of different ways, just as you like.
The Strawberry Kid is about 12 cm tall and can be crocheted in 1–2 evenings. It was crocheted using Catania by Schachenmayr, but you can also use another yarn of similar thickness. You should already have some experience crocheting smaller figures.

A few small amounts of leftover yarn in pink and hot pink will make little doll mums happy ... but only if you crochet this enchanting little bag for them, for example.

Besides the bag, you can also crochet other things for the beach: a bikini, a mini skirt, a baseball cap and a beach blanket. All 6 patterns are very easy to make and are also suitable for crochet beginners . I will show you step by step how it is done.

Materials:
  • "Catania Fine“ (LL 165 g/50 m) or
  • „Alize Diva silk effect“ (LL 350 m/100 g; source details in the pattern) or
  • other yarn of the same weight (leftover yarn is also sufficient)
  • Crochet hook size 2 (or 1.75)
I hope you enjoy this project.
Warm regards from Ina

So, which dress do you like best? I like the pink dress in the middle. It’s very quick and easy to knit, even for knitting beginners . We’ll be using a set of double-pointed needles to knit only knit stitches and yarn overs. I’d also like to encourage those who’ve never knitted
with a set of double-pointed needles to learn how with this project, which
is perfect for that.

Yarn requirements per dress:
  • 10 g of cotton yarn, e.g., “Catania fine” by Schachenmayr (165 m/50 g) or another yarn of the same yardage
  • Set of double-pointed needles (= 5 needles) size 2, length 15 cm
  • Crochet hook size 1.75 or 1.5
I hope you enjoy the pattern. Best regards from “Ina strickt”

but after the sack has been emptied, you also have a fun decoration.
On a door or wall, it’s a funny eye-catcher.

Aren’t these baby booties just adorable?

They are knitted from soft, cuddly baby yarn; you’ll need just under 50 g of pink
and a leftover bit of white, as well as a set of double-pointed needles size 3–3.5

To knit these booties, a little knitting experience would be helpful,

Required skills would be:

> casting on stitches with a set of double-pointed needles
> knit stitches
> purl stitches
> increasing stitches
> knitting stitches together
> binding off stitches
> making a buttonhole

The individual steps are explained very well in the pattern!
