 D itto, I’d like to spontaneously join Giggi a s well. There are constantly so many n ew, wonderful patterns that you can hardly k eep up with making them.e normous thanks also for the many free downloads!!!
 The patterns are usually laid out so clearly, with so much love for
the details, that they are easy to make. I’m glad I ended up at CP by chance!

I’d also like to quickly wish everyone a happy Easter.
Have a few relaxing days.

I took a break from crafts today. I’m feeling a little down because my sweetheart boarded a cargo ship today for a three-month voyage. Of course, he found a crocheted good-luck charm in his suitcase.

After it rained all day yesterday (which isn’t good for the cherry blossoms) and it was freezing cold, today it only rained on and off. But it was still freezing cold and very windy. So honestly: this isn’t what spring is supposed to be like.
Still, I wish everyone a happy Easter.

And from me, too—just a quick note to wish you a very happy birthday.

I’m working on four door wreaths, a dancing mouse, two toilet paper roll covers, a flower ball, swans, and two pillows.
I make little flowers out of leftover yarn every now and then.

Crocheting

Of course, you don’t really think about Christmas during spring and Easter, but when I have a little free time and need a change of pace, I make Christmas things all year round.
Experience has shown that Christmas always comes around veeeery suddenly, without warning...laughs.

I’ve just read the four-part series “Hurenkönigin” by Ursel Zimmer. In 1511, the guild mistress investigates several murder cases that aren’t confined to the world of prostitution. Ursula Neeb writes so compellingly that I’ve already lost track of time more than once.

Now “Ich habe nein gesagt” by Annemarie Schoenle and, if too many memories of my own come back, “Hundewache”, a Gorch Fock thriller by Jan von der Bank, are sitting on my bedside table.

Lighthouse finished — my husband is happy = it was worth the effort.

Unfortunately, the weather here isn’t good at all. There’s a nasty cold wind, and it keeps drizzling. So unfortunately, the trip to Bremerhaven for my partner’s birthday had to be canceled.
But being postponed doesn’t mean it’s canceled.

Today is our big dance event with about 250 female dancers and one (!) male dancer. That’ll keep me busy until this evening, but then it’s time to get started:
I’ve decided to give my sweetheart a lighthouse for his birthday on Wednesday. I just bought the pattern. So today, during prime-time TV, it’s “time to grab the crochet hook.”

That sounds familiar… lol. I just got two huge bags full of yarn as a gift.
I’m afraid there’ll be quite a few more PiAs to come…

PiAs are “projects in progress”.

I don’t have any UFOs… grin. But I do have a few PiAs buzzing around at the moment
.
Since I’m very busy with dancing and DRK right now, I keep working on different things in between. You can always squeeze in little pieces for door wreaths. In the evenings while watching TV, I tackle the bigger parts. I just crocheted a Boteh scarf for my dear aunt in one long evening in front of the TV.

But I’m afraid the PiAs are going to multiply, because I’ve already discovered so many beautiful patterns again...
