I had a doctor’s appointment and was able to keep working diligently on “Opa Karlchen ” in the waiting room and later at the train station. It’s going to be a 65th birthday gift, and of course, I didn’t think of it until just a week before.
Now I have to get a move on.

A few years ago, I crocheted a sweater for my best friend. At work, she was asked by a coworker—and even by customers—where she’d bought that great piece.
When she told me about it, I also found out what she’d replied: “My best friend made it for me. It’s one-of-a-kind, made especially for me with love.”
Of course, that made me happy.

I was browsing in a one-euro shop the other day and found cuddly yarn. It looks just as fluffy as yours.
They also have a cheaper alternative to Brazilia there, namely Regina.

It’s not available in every color, but it only cost one euro. Sometimes it’s worth browsing in shops like that, especially if you don’t need a specific color.

Hi Josefa,

I’ve been out of commission for a while and am now slowly trying to get back into the swing of things. Right now, my arms full of needle sticks (because my veins roll) are still giving me trouble, but things can only get better.

Some PIAs are now finished, but other projects are waiting in the wings to turn into new PIAs.

I also have to crochet some more dancing mice. It’ll take a while yet before the whole dance troupe is supplied with mice... lol.

Plus, my “I-prepared-something-a-while-ago” box is waiting for new contents.
