How about some pom-poms?
That’s when everyone first noticed that a certain yarn tool was missing—namely, the pom-pom maker.
Where on earth could it be hiding?

I wish all the forum crafters a peaceful First Sunday of Advent
with a greeting of lights from Norway

Best regards, Andrea

The knitting needles weren’t paying attention for a moment, and in their panic, they dropped several stitches—oh my goodness, what now...

I’ve had a few days off. I have to work on Saturday, but I’m off on Sunday.
I’ll be working on my Tapestry crochet bag then. Other than that, I’ll just be relaxing and having a cozy
TV night on the couch.

At this late hour, I’d also like to send you my best wishes. I hope you had a wonderful day with all your guests and let yourself be thoroughly pampered.

Warm regards, Andrea

That’s so sweet of all of you—thank you for the birthday wishes.
We have a long weekend this time, and we’re really enjoying it—sleeping in. A nice breakfast
with rolls, eggs, and salmon, a cozy evening, and of course a little alcohol with
some snacks.

So thanks again to everyone here, and to CP and the forum—it’s just great being here with all of you.

[x ] I finished several UFOs in August and truly earned the title of UFO King/Queen.

I managed to finish 2 UFOs.
(Pictures can be seen in the other thread.) I wasn’t sure if I should post pictures here.

My UFO made it just in time for the final push. Done.

Thank you, CreatOwl, from me as well. You explained it very well for us raglan beginners.
I haven’t tried it yet—I’m eager to, but I just haven’t had the time. But I’ll get around to it soon

Have a lovely Sunday, everyone

Never mind. The images appeared when I submitted my message. Everything’s fine.

Too bad—I don’t see any pictures here, just these two dolls. What am I doing wrong? I can’t click on anything either (photos).

As a mere mortal who doesn’t own a boutique and doesn’t want to spend a lot of money,

my question is:

how or where can I get a mannequin like that? I often see them in pictures here when crocheted or knitted items are being displayed. Sometimes it would be nice to “try on” my crocheted pieces on a mannequin like that. I’m sure they come in different sizes, though I’m not really familiar with them. Maybe someone knows the answer. Thanks in advance.

Little kittens are always cute. I’m sure you’ll have a lot of fun with him.

We went on a little motorcycle ride today in glorious sunshine, and it’s so nice to cruise along the fjord here—simply wonderful.

Hey ursulapetra, hope you had a great day. Cheers to you.

Remember, you’re as young as you feel. Sometimes it’s actually great when you can’t turn that “number” around.

Thanks, mowi19. We can do this.
Somehow I’ve always been putting off these UFOs, but doing it together with all of you is actually really fun, and it’s satisfying to see the yarn pile go down. Seriously.
The weather here is cooler again—rain—so it’s perfect crafting weather.

Here’s my second August UFO—it’s not quite finished yet. Two stars are still missing, and instead of the bunny, there’s a little angel sitting on the swing (just need to sew it on).

I also think this shawl is very chic—those colorful stripes look great.

I still have one UFO in progress, but I think it’ll be finished soon.

Happy birthday! Have a wonderful day :-)

I’m glad you like my moose. Thank you. It doesn’t have to disappear into a box—it can keep watching over me, and I enjoy having it around, too.

I’ve also finished a UFO. My moose shelf sitter had been waiting for its arms—and to be sewn together—for almost a year. It’s finally done and ready for Christmas. I’m over the moon.

We went on a little ride this morning on my husband’s new motorcycle. It was just wonderful—sunny, not too hot, not too cold. Awesome. I tried out my new helmet right away, and everything fits perfectly.
It felt a little strange at first. The last time I sat on the back of a motorcycle was probably 30 years ago, but it was so much fun. We’ll do it again as soon as possible, before it gets colder again and winter sets in.
Just want to enjoy it while we can.

Have a wonderful Sunday, and to all the first-graders, have a great start to school.
