I’ll start with my shop projects from this summer.
My shop has been enriched especially by maritime patterns and pot holders crocheted in Tunisian simple stitch :-)
-------------------------------------------
This summer, I decided to crochet a garment in Tunisian crochet, but the project wasn’t as easy as I’d thought.
Finding the right hook with a cord, choosing a pattern, and then finding the right yarn—all of that took several hours of test crocheting, unraveling, and searching for the right materials. But what can I say—now I’ve got it all together :-)
The right hook—I’m especially happy about that
I finally have the right pattern, too—only the color isn’t right yet.
I’ve ordered the yarn, and I’ve already worked the first few rows.
------------------------------------------
I spent a lot of time biking this summer and enjoyed the surroundings; that’s when I found a funny shop-window display—a bicycle completely crocheted over (unfortunately, the photo isn’t very good)

My husband got his early birthday present: a ride in a Dodge Challenger (his dream). The surprise was a total success.
------------------------------------------
I was saddened by the death of my 18-year-old tomcat; unfortunately, I had to have him put to sleep.

------------------------------------
I repurposed a CD rack for my yarn, and I’m absolutely thrilled with it—I’m going to add more, because now I can finally see at a glance what treasures I still have.

--------------------------------------------
But now I’m finally wrapping things up!!!
On August 24, our kitten Junior moved in with us and has been bringing life to our home ever since—a real ray of sunshine. I do have to make sure he doesn’t snoop around too much on CP, though; he wants his own account :-)
Now I’m looking forward to more posts :-)
