Dear users, dear authors,
it’s time for the March projects. The February projects were wonderful and can be reread here.

Tunisian crochet
Since this project was so well received by you, it will continue. You made such great progress and supported each other wonderfully; it would be a shame to stop. So we’ll simply keep going. Newcomers are always very welcome.

Easter projects: Become an Honorary Bunny / Honorary Chick or Honorary Lamb

There isn’t much time left until Easter. There is room here in the thread for all Easter projects. Here you can show your Easter projects and earn honorary titles like Honorary Bunny, Honorary Chick or Honorary Lamb. That is an honor that is only rarely awarded, but I, as the mod of this thread, make it possible. :- )

Spring projects: Drive out winter with spring models / become Flower of the Month

This whole winter and cold thing has been going on far too long already. So I’m in favor of everyone joining forces now to work on spring projects so that winter clears off. I need delicate green leaves on the trees, melodious birdsong, T-shirt weather and sunshine. So please do your best. :- ) As soon as winter is gone, we’ll know that you’ve made enough spring models, and then we’ve all won. I will award the title “Flower of Spring or also Flower of the Month” for especially beautiful models.

UFO Week from March 21–28: You know how this works.

For one week, we’ll focus specifically on all UFOs. Partners / families will be pleased.
Bets can be made, but in any case, get yourselves as much Support as possible.
If you’d like to set aside UFOs for UFO Week, you’re welcome to do so.

Best of the Leftovers in March

Anyone who uses up a lot of leftover yarn will be crowned Best of the Leftovers by me. It’s worth it, because you can still make lots of wonderful things from leftovers.
Please take photos.

Yarn Diet: On to the final round of world domination

You have to stick with it until the end of April if you want to make it to the final round of world domination, but we have quite a few candidates here who will easily manage it. Keep going, Pe-Ka, Wollefaden, Mowi19, Arni and CarosverrueckteHaekelwelt.

Everyone who had to pause the yarn diet will have another chance at the title of Yarn Empress in April, since the yarn diet will run as usual from April 1 until the end of April.

Inner-Pig-Dog Tamer

Anyone who wants this title has to stick with it for a whole year and consistently follow the yarn diet. I would never demand that of you, but anyone who keeps it up has my respect. Keep going, CarosverrueckteHaekelwelt. We’re cheering you on.

Keep track of material usage

Yarn usage / material usage 2018 + notes on each project
Please keep noting it down.

All March projects

There is also room here for information and photos of all March projects.
I’m excited to see them.

Put this thread on your forum watchlist so you can find it again.

Details and info are in the screenshot. The image gets larger when you click on it or open it in a new tab.

Photos not loading / loading slowly on phone or PC

Experience shows that many photos are uploaded in this thread. If it should be the
case that you’re on your phone and the photos are not displayed,
then please make sure there is enough free storage space on your phone
(preferably on the device storage ) and give the thread some time to load / build the images.
If you’re on a PC and using a somewhat older PC or a PC with only
a little RAM, then please close all other tabs and
give the thread some time to load.

Thank you so much, Josefa. As the others have already said: By now, I can easily walk right past the yarn. It’s not always easy, but then I always think of all that poor yarn at home that’s been waiting so long to be used. I have more than enough of everything. I’m going to make a unicorn out of cotton yarn for spring. Or maybe a bunny? Although there’s been a box sitting there for almost a year with a pattern for a MiniLalylala sheep. We’ll see. First, I need to finish my UFOs. Wishing you all a wonderful and successful March.

I won’t be able to go without buying any yarn until the end of the year. I still need to buy more yarn for my daughter’s blanket. But I have enough right now to definitely last until world domination.

Easter lambs, chicks, and bunnies are sparking my imagination. My daughter has wanted a new rattle toy for a while now. We already have chicks, but a little bunny like that would definitely be something. Thanks for the inspiration!

I’m skipping UFO Week this time. I’ll be on vacation then and won’t be back until April. But I’m sure the next UFO Week will come around in April, and I’ll definitely be on board again then.

I’m working on a spring project. But since it’s just for me, it always gets pushed to the back of the line, and I don’t think I’ll finish it this month. So I hope it’ll be done by summer—I want to take it with me on vacation.

On to the March projects!

I can hardly believe it myself, but I actually haven’t bought any yarn since the start of the year. I’ll need more yarn eventually for the crochet blanket I’m working on, but maybe I can put that off a little longer. Just to be safe, I’m signing up for world domination. I’ll reserve the “inner slacker” thing for later.

So I’m done with this whole “not buying any yarn” thing. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t manage it anyway ;-) But hey, where’s the leftover-yarn section for March? I actually found a pattern yesterday that works with yarn I already have: the cotton sock yarn I bought for my stash and—wow—my dark blue cotton that I kept from the sweater for my son in size 134 (remember that one?). So if I have enough—I’ll buy the pattern as soon as my top-up money has been credited—I’ll knit up some really ancient leftovers, together with stash yarn! <\/strong>Okay, I probably won’t finish it this month, so April will do for the leftover-yarn category *cackle*

@Iglinz,
I entered you over in the February thread, right at the top in the first post under the winners’ announcement, and also in a regular post.

For the simple reason that I want to visit Waltraud in her shop in May and also need more yarn for a project, I probably won’t be taking part in “Conquering the Inner Slacker” anymore.
Plus, even after world domination, I’ll still be using up a lot of “diet yarn.” I already have a few new projects buzzing around in my head.

I have one UFO at the moment that I’d like to finish in March if possible. It’s this one—a poncho made from sock yarn:

Since I want to crochet the birthday gifts for my granddaughter first—she’ll turn 2 on my birthday this month—time is a bit tight. But I think I’ll manage it anyway.

I’m currently designing the birthday gift. She needs various items for her play kitchen. So no bunnies, chicks, etc.

Floral decorations are still planned. Now I’m adding matching coasters to the set. And I could also make something with floral decorations in Tunisian crochet. Let’s see what I come up with—maybe another mug cozy?

There’s plenty to do again. I’m looking forward to it!

I wish you all a creative and joyful day!

Monika

Question for everyone:

Is it worth creating project threads for June/July/August?
After all, that’s vacation time—or gardening time.
Would you participate in projects then, or should we take a summer break?

Although, come to think of it, you do your crafting in the garden, on vacation, and while traveling, too. So yarn is always being used up. There are always UFOs, too. And leftover yarn as well.

Let me know what you think.

"Leftovers at Their Best," I’d say. If the girls keep this up—not buying anything and just digging through their stash... Or just reacting spontaneously to requests ;-)

Well, I’d love to join in, because I knit and crochet even in the summer. I’m especially active in the garden and am already looking forward to sitting outside while I work. And there’s internet in the summer, too.

Yes, there are still UFOs, and I’d especially like to make progress with my leftover yarn. Little crochet projects like these are perfect to tackle in the summer.

So far it sounds like you would also join in with the projects in the summer.
Then I’ll keep opening the project thread on the first of each month and holding the winners’ ceremony on the last day of the month. :-)

I’ve just come up with a shawls-and-wraps project here. Shawls, wraps, and scarves of all kinds are always popular here, so I thought that those who enjoy handcrafting shawls, wraps, and blankets could also get together in their own thread.

Well, if someone drags out a UFO and absolutely wants to finish it, share pictures with us, and earn a title for it, then let’s quickly designate the last week as UFO Week. Although, UFO Week is actually relevant all year round—almost everyone has something lying around ;-)

Ah, you mean offering individual motivation to finish things. :-)
Well, the thing is that UFO Week always takes place around the last week of each month. So you can count on that. And I’m definitely hoping for more than one participant.

Before Easter, however, UFO Week will not end on the last day of the month. That would be Holy Saturday, and I would have found that inappropriate. That’s why UFO Week ends on Wednesday = the day before Maundy Thursday.

Before Christmas, we didn’t have a UFO Week, because everyone was busy finishing projects anyway, but aside from that, we’ve had a UFO Week every month since autumn.

Well, I work on projects all year round; in summer, more with cotton in the garden. I’ve already made a summer sweater, thanks to Tunisian crochet. Since there are still a few UFOs lying around, I’ll keep working on them depending on my mood.
Some of them are summer sweaters too. I’ve just started a smaller blanket. It’s going to be colorful, with sewn-on appliqués—a patchwork blanket. That will take a little longer; I’d also like to try out Tunisian patterns with it.
I’m sure something will also get finished for Easter. Thanks to these threads here, I definitely haven’t produced any new UFOs yet this year—a great achievement for me. (There are still over 20 of them lying around.)

Shawls haven’t been among my favorite projects so far. Instead, I’m knitting my second poncho, which I’m already really looking forward to—it’s my UFO of the month. It’s perfect for wearing in the in-between seasons instead of a cardigan.

So I’m joining in with the summer projects too, since I crochet on vacation and on the patio as well.

I probably won’t manage to conquer my inner couch potato; I don’t have that much yarn-diet yarn.  But I’ll see how long I can keep going.
For March, I’ve definitely planned more leftover-yarn snails and a jacket for Anton using yarn-diet yarn.  We’ll see what else comes along

I can’t guarantee that I’ll join in every month, but I’ll definitely try. Maybe I’ll skip the odd title here and there.

Yesterday my little son drew me a design for his next requested object. It looks a bit like a sheep—apparently it feels sick, because it’s green.
I want to use it to earn the title of Easter lamb. Then I’ll share it with my son, too.

I like these threads so much; they always give me new ideas, or I actually manage to finally finish old things.

I’m currently adding flower coasters to my spring flower meadow. They look great. I also have a few more ideas for something floral. Maybe I’ll manage to defend my “Flower of the Month” title again. ;-) If even the little things count...

Yes! My “side knitting project using scraps or leftover yarn” is great! However, I didn’t quite realize beforehand that I’d be dealing with so many stitches per row ;-) I definitely won’t finish it in March.

I’m doing well. I finished my first March project today.
Made from leftover yarn, of course.

Yes, I’m doing well, Josefa. Thanks for asking. ;-)

Everyone here is probably working hard. I’m working on my UFO and making progress—with “diet yarn,” of course. The sweater is finished, and I’m writing up the pattern.

And in the meantime, I’ve used up some leftover yarn again and crocheted little flower coasters to go with the spring flower placemats. They look really pretty and are our new table decoration. Now spring can come.

Here’s a photo of the new coasters with petal edging:

I’m doing well, too. I’ve finished two more snails (from leftover yarn), and now I’m crocheting a jacket for Anton (using diet yarn).

Marion, the little one is just so sweet… sooo cute! :-)

My UFO project doesn’t have any buttons yet, but other than that it’s looking good… it’s a mix of a poncho, a shawl, and ???… what would you call it?

It definitely looks great when worn and is cozy and warm. Knitted from sock yarn with cashmere. Toward the end, it took quite a while because of the loooong rows.

Josefa, do we have to finish the UFOs in the last week of March so they count for UFO Week? Or can we do it before then? If not, then I’ll wait a bit longer… grin.

So, now I’m finally going to crochet the second cup warmer, Tunisian style. It’ll get a flower as decoration. After all, I’m aiming for the “Flower of the Month” title again. ;-)

I’ve seen pieces like this in magazines before; they’re called poncho capes there.

You can also finish UFOs beforehand, but please mark them as UFOs here in this thread.

Okay, thanks, Josefa!

Yeah, Marion, I really used every minute to finish my poncho cape. I’ve knitted more than half a ball of yarn over the last few days—about 300 meters.

I came up with the design because I like to throw something over my shoulders when I get chilly. I don’t like wearing a jacket then, because that’s too warm. And a shawl isn’t really my thing because it slips off. I need something to hold it together in the front—like buttons.

I looked at lots of poncho designs, but I didn’t like any of them. So I took my nicest and softest sock yarn and knitted this poncho cape. I think the color gradient is so beautiful, and I’m already looking forward to putting it on.

So this is my UFO No. 1 for this month, coming in for a landing.

And I actually found another UFO. My first mug warmer only had a temporary fastening made of yarn threads. Here are the pictures as proof:

Now the mug warmer is finally getting crocheted ties to fasten it. I chose this solution so that it would fit any mug.

So I have one small and one large UFO this month. :-)

So, I’ve finally finished that UFO cup warmer and immediately crocheted a second one from leftover yarn, this time with a floral embellishment.

To make sure the second one doesn’t become a UFO, I crocheted the ties right onto it and, of course, neatly woven in all the ends.

Here’s what the two look like now—and here’s proof of the added tie in picture 2

Next up is my poncho cape; it still needs buttons.

The next projects from yarn-diet yarn and leftovers are:

- a tissue pouch as a birthday present for my friend - this time in a solid color
- a few small items - I'll surprise myself with how I manage that
- and a sleeping bag for baby's first cuddly bear (so it won't wear out so quickly) ;-)

March is still a long month, so there's still quite a lot I can get done...

That’s right, March is still long—there’s plenty of time to get some work done.

My next project is now finished, too. It was a UFO and was actually meant for fall. But since Easter is coming up soon, this is what it turned into.

Wow, Marion, that door wreath looks aaaamazing—absolutely lovely! I like it a lot!
You’ve really brought a pretty UFO in for a landing. :-)

I’ve now brought my poncho cape UFO in for a landing too—the buttons are on. And it turned out lovely. The tissue pouch for my friend is finished too. Everything made from yarn-diet yarn and leftover yarn, of course.

And the next projects are already on the needles:
- the sleeping bag for the little bear, and
- the crocheted gifts for my granddaughter—I’ll show them when they’re finished—and
- a shopping bag to go with them as “packaging”

I wish you all a lovely weekend!

Quite a few things have been finished since I last checked in here. Good job, everyone :-)
I’m not quite sure if I’m in the right place—there was another thread about shawls somewhere, but I can’t find it right now. In any case, I’ve finally taken a picture of my shawl UFO, and since it’s still made from my yarn stash, it brings me a little closer to world domination :-)

Hey Ida, that’s great that you’re continuing your yarn diet. ;-)
You’re definitely in the right place here with your UFO, because this activity is covered in this thread—just like the yarn diet, using up leftover yarn, etc.

Wow, Caro, your star blanket looks great!
Yes, I’m also glad you’re all joining in, because otherwise I’d still have a bunch of stuff lying around. ;-)
And I definitely wouldn’t have been able to stick to the yarn diet for this long.

What I’ve noticed in the process… it’s kind of strange and unusual…
The urge has actually lessened. I can now walk right past the yarn shelves without a second thought and no longer need to give them a wide berth. That’s new to me.

Let’s see how that goes once the yarn diet is over (grin)... I imagine my first purchase will feel like I’m in the Land of Milk and Honey. In any case, I’ll be even more mindful to buy only the yarn I need or want to restock. I won’t be stockpiling as much as I have before.

Well, we’ll see how it really goes then... ;-)

Thanks, Mowi. I’ve noticed that too. I’m not quite as addicted, and while I can look at the yarn at Aldi and places like that, it doesn’t tempt me anymore. Still, I try to avoid contact. I really do want to cut back and keep everything together in one place. And only keep what I’ll actually use soon.

Caro, it’s great that we’re working on cutting back and sticking with it so well. :-) We can definitely be proud of ourselves. I’m also only going to buy what I’ll use within the next few weeks and then go on a “yarn diet” for a few weeks again. That really helps me stick with it.

By the way, I can’t find this message from you anywhere in the threads. It appears all by itself. You were probably replying to a message from me. It would be great if the system started working reliably again soon.

Thank you so much, everyone. I really like the other projects, too. I just managed to finish another UFO. But I have to admit, working with sock yarn bores me. That’s why the top part of the dress is also crocheted with additional thick yarn.

Caro, your doll UFO turned out pretty with that combination. :-)
I’m still in the process of crocheting lots of little pieces for my granddaughter’s birthday, including a small shopping bag—with contents. It looks totally cute.
As soon as everything’s finished, I’ll post a photo.

Well, and the sleeping bag for the baby bear is currently still floating around as a UFO, but it’ll definitely be finished this month.

Have a lovely evening, everyone! I’m going to keep crocheting now... :-)

Marion, your blanket has really grown a lot already!
I’m still knitting my jacket—the back and one front panel are done—but I’ve also squeezed in a cable-knit hat for my daughter. Unfortunately, I can’t take any photos today because the hat is up in the kids’ room.

I just want to say that I’m super proud of everyone for working through all that yarn and finishing those UFOs!
Just imagine all the items made in this thread all at once! That would soon fill an entire store! Or a showroom......

Yes, Mel, that’s a great idea—an exhibition space for all our UFOs and wonderful creations from our yarn diet. Wow! I’m sure we’ll have quite a collection. Marion, your blanket looks really great and it’s visibly growing!

I think we can all be proud of how much we’ve accomplished! Honestly—without this thread, I probably wouldn’t have the motivation to reduce my yarn stash. It’s really fun here with you all and being able to show our projects here. That really spurs me on, at least. It’s also much more fun together. I almost feel like I’m in a crochet and knitting group here, where everyone can come and stay as long as they like. Great!

Yes, I’m also proud that I’m finding it so easy to stick with using up my yarn. I’ve come up with so many ideas for all the stash that I could keep busy for several more months. I don’t think I’ve ever crocheted and knitted so much or so often as I have in the last few weeks since this thread has existed.

I’ll show you the bag now—part of the gifts for my granddaughter—which I finished crocheting today, with a little something inside. The butter is also already finished, one of the small items (the second picture).

I’m afraid I won’t be able to keep up with any of these projects this month. Now all the birthdays are coming up, and the requests are already pouring in.
A shawl for the 60th birthday of a very dear coworker—whom I’d actually call a friend—and my daughter really wants a decorative pillow with our dog on it for her birthday.
But I still have to finish the shawl for my friend—her birthday was back in February, and we’re seeing each other on Good Friday. I’d like to bring it to her then.
The only thing I’m still sticking to is my “yarn diet.” But only until April 3. Then I’ll have to order the yarn for the next birthday gifts.

But I really enjoy seeing everything you’ve all managed to make.

Marion’s blanket is a hit. The bright, cheerful colors really make you want to snuggle up.
But the star blanket and all the beautiful little things everyone’s making are just amazing, too.

I’m determined to join in again in April.

@ Monika
That bag for your granddaughter is really cute. She’ll definitely be happy with it, especially when it’s filled too.

It makes me happy that you like my blanket. It’s being donated to people with dementia, so I looked for the friendliest colors possible among my leftover yarn. I’m also going to crochet some appliqués and sew them on.

You’re right—we’ve already used up a lot of diet yarn, our UFOs have also shrunk, and it’s just so much fun to join in here.

Dagmar, don’t stress yourself out unnecessarily. The main motivation here should be that it’s fun. You’re welcome to show off your shawls and gifts here if you’d like. We’re always happy to admire other people’s creations. :-)

Thanks, Marion, for sharing in the joy. The bag and its contents are really cute. The other items are more for the plate or the little saucepan in her kitchen. Oh, it makes me feel like a little girl all over again, playing with them. I can really picture it.

Today I took a picture of the toast and the butter with little slices of butter. Here’s what it looks like:

That girls’ bag is totally adorable, Monika!

I’m knitting the Lorien shawl. Right now I’m sweating buckets because I don’t think I’ll have enough yarn. Since it’s been sitting around forever, I can’t buy any more *sob* . Now I’m hoping I can find a similar dark blue somewhere. Since the second color is mottled in shades of blue and the whole thing is therefore a colorful mix of blues, I hope I don’t ruin it by using that... What a bummer.

Oh, Michaela, don’t worry about it. You’re creative, after all, and I’m sure you’ll come up with a great combination. I’ve had that “problem” before, and it always turned out great. That can happen with older leftover yarn. It’s another reason for me to use up my yarn soon.

I wish you all a wonderful day! The sun is shining here. :-)

How cool. The toast and butter are great. And the fruit is great too. The little one will surely be happy.

Caro, just wait until you see the rest. I’m totally blown away that I managed to design all of this myself. It was so much fun.

And I’m really curious to see how Linja reacts to it. She’s always watching her parents cook and reenacting everything.

I’m done, and now everything is being packed up. The package is supposed to go on its way tomorrow. I’d love to be there when it’s unpacked… but the distance is just too great. And since I’m having a birthday party with guests on the same day… well. In any case, I’ll watch the whole thing on video.

Here’s all the food for Linja’s dolls:

I just couldn’t resist and started a shawl today. At least it’s made from “diet” yarn. I bought the yarn cake last year at the yarn festival. And the pattern is Halata by Jasmin Räsänen.
It’s looking really pretty so far.

Oh, the food looks great. It looks delicious. The little one is sure to be over the moon. So lovely.

And a UFO has landed. The sleeping bag—or rather, the swaddle bag—for Baby Bear is finished. Here’s what it looks like; in the second photo, you can see him wearing it. Now I’m working on the top part, the sweater. The whole thing serves as a sort of “cuddle protective suit” for the little bear, so it’ll last a long time. ;-)

And here’s the new UFO… the sweater I started for the little bear. That’s supposed to be finished in March, too. I have to say, my UFOs don’t take long to finish anymore—thanks to this thread.

As you can see here, Josefa, quite a bit has been added since your last visit. :-)
So things are going very well!

Things are going well for me. I’m thrilled. I’ve learned something new (post double crochet) and am getting along great with the crochet chart. I learned that last year on vacation while working on the MiniVirus shawl.

I’m not sweating over my shawl anymore! About two hours after I complained here that I didn’t have enough of my vintage yarn, I found some Schachenmayr yarn at EDEKA (!!!) in a nearby town that I can use for the final row. At the same time, I have a plan to tweak the pattern sequence a bit so that I really only need the other yarn for the border. And last but not least, I found some more yarn online today that I’m almost certain will be a 100% perfect match. If I’m wrong, the Schachenmayr matches the shade perfectly and is just a touch thicker. Though with NS 3, you can’t really call it “thick.” So, I’m super relaxed about my shawl. I’m also really far along (had to knit faster so I’d have enough yarn *cackle*), but by the end of March it’ll probably be a bit tight. The package probably won’t be here tomorrow either.... Needless to say, I ordered some other yarn as well. But since I’m not dieting, it doesn’t matter.

Relaxed, grinning greetings!

Glad your problem was solved so quickly. I’m curious to see what your shawl looks like when it’s finished.

I wish you the best of luck.

Yeah, Michaela, I’m also curious to see how it’ll look when it’s finished. Reading about your yarn shopping… it really makes me long for some myself. Although… I console myself quite well with my beautiful stash of yarn. By the way, I walked right past some balls of yarn while shopping today—I touched them (yeah, yeah...), but quickly put them back... pat on the back again. After all, world domination is important enough to me.

Caro, that looks great—what are you crocheting there? What will it be when it’s finished?

Great that your shawl problem was resolved so well, Michaela. I’m really looking forward to the finished result.
Mowi, I’m making the Halata by Morben Design, aka Jasmin Räsänen.

So, the baby bear is now finished being knitted for. With a sleeping bag and sweater, it’s well equipped to help a cuddly child fall asleep. I thought the clothing could be knitted up again quickly if it gets worn out. ;-)

This is what the little bear looks like dressed now — next to it is the sweater by itself:

That means another UFO has landed.

The next project — of course all made from diet yarn — is already on the needles. It’s going to be a little sweater for my Steiff teddy Fynn. This is what it looks like so far:

Fynn will gradually get more clothes after that, for example a pair of pants. Right now I’m having fun trying out a few patterns and color combinations on the little sweaters. I may use some of them for larger sweaters.

Wow, that looks pretty. And trying out the stitch patterns on a small scale first is a good idea. That way you can see right away whether you actually enjoy it or if it gets on your nerves. Warm regards from my Fynn to yours. I guess I’ll have to crochet something for someone soon so he doesn’t get jealous.

Hehe, Caro, then my Fynn says hi to yours too. :-)

I really like your little sweater, and the new pattern looks great, too.

I’ll also be giving a doll a whole new outfit soon. Let’s see how it turns out.

It’s not just my bears who’ll be jealous! The baby dolls would also love something new again, but right now I have to prioritize differently!

Thanks, Marion! :-)
It’s really fun to make little things like this. Best of all, it’s quick.
I have some leftover yarn—or just a single skein of a certain color. I often do that when placing orders because I like the colors. And then I just see what I can make out of them, like I’m doing now.
In the process, I’ve already discovered colors that I’m definitely going to order in larger quantities—starting in May, of course—after world domination. ;-)

Let’s be honest, if it weren’t for this diet challenge, I wouldn’t have thought so quickly to use up these single skeins. So it really is good for something..... tsk tsk.

So, the next “unfinished” project is now finally done. Fynn is absolutely thrilled with his new cozy sweater. Take a look—this is what he looks like wearing it and without it (you can see the unfinished version above):

It turned out a bit long, even on the sleeves. But that way, it’ll fit other dolls or teddy bears, too. You can just knit a few fewer rows. In any case, I like Fynn even better now. :-)

I’m afraid I’ll have to sit this one out when it comes to UFOs: I need to finish my sister’s birthday present (it’s only half a UFO—I started it ten days ago), and then I’ll get to work on the lovey...

UFO Week starts tomorrow.
By the middle of next week, the leftover yarn projects and all other March projects will be finished.
The Yarn Diet runs until the end of April.
Keep at it if you still want a title.

How are the Easter projects coming along?

Good morning

I’ve finished two projects for Easter: the cool bunny and an Easter wreath.
The wreath was a UFO and I already finished it this month.

So cute, Marion!

Josefa, isn’t the yarn diet supposed to last until the end of April?

Well, I’ve knitted everything from leftover yarn and, of course, yarn from the yarn diet. Let’s see what else I can finish by the end of March. Right now, I’ve got a summer sweater for Teddy Fynn on my needles, made from leftover yarn and yarn from the yarn diet.
