Hello, everyone! ☺️
After a long break, I’m now planning to reopen my online shop for crochet shawls and other accessories on Kasuwa.
The new EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) has been in effect since December 2024, and to be honest, I’m a little overwhelmed by it.
Maybe someone here has experience with this?
For starters, I’m a bit at a loss as to what a risk assessment and product documentation should look like. All my shawls are one-of-a-kind pieces. Does that mean I have to write a document for each shawl? Does the document have to be attached to the product ads?
On top of that, each product also needs to include manufacturer and safety information.
I don’t want to sew a label onto my shawls—it would just look out of place, and it’s difficult for the end customer to remove it cleanly. That’s why I’d like to tie a hangtag to them.
Do you do it this way too? What do you write on them?
I hope someone can help ease my anxiety about all this—maybe it’s not as complicated as it seems. 🙏🏻
Thank you so much!
Conni
Dear Conni,
welcome to the forum. Since this is about an online shop for selling finished shawls on Kasuwa, I suggest you contact Kasuwa’s support. We only sell patterns here, not finished shawls, and we’re not allowed to provide legal advice.
I wish you every success.
