A pretty, personalized package is sure to make your Easter sweets look extra special! Lots of little colorful bits of leftover yarn and empty jam jars are turned into these absolutely adorable candy jars , which you can use again and again as Easter decorations.

Egg cozies can also be crocheted wonderfully from leftover yarn. Here, it's a bunny and a hedgehog decorating your breakfast table.

They say there are still people who read “real” books. They’re sure to be delighted with an original crocheted bookmark, like this Frog Prince bookmark. Fans of fairy tales and legends in particular will love it.

Or how about a few cutefinger puppets? This sweet Easter bunny family fits into any Easter basket and is sure to be lots of fun!

I find using up leftovers really satisfying, because something independent and new is created from something “left over.” And things made from leftover yarn often turn out especially colorful. The designs featured here are all knitted in double-face. If you don’t know this knitting technique yet, you’ll find everything about the basics of double-face in a free pattern. Even while practicing, you can make good use of various leftover yarns in all kinds of colors :-)

Knitting pattern for the reversible “Cheeky Mouse” hat - this sweet hat can be made in all sizes, from newborn to teenager. For the baby version, depending on the yarn and how you knit, you only need about 20 g each in two colors.

Knitting pattern for the “Winter Sun” headband
-  the headband is perfect right now during the transitional season, when you don’t want to wear a hat anymore but still need a little warmth around your ears.

Knitting pattern for a comfort cloth / washcloth “Elo Elephant” - this cloth is perfect for cuddling or for gently washing the face. It is knitted in very soft baby wool and will be a faithful companion for your child. It also makes a wonderful gift for a birth or a birthday.

Knitting pattern for a comfort cloth / washcloth “Diggi Dino” - clumsy little Diggi Dino is also looking forward to a new friend and is ready for anything!

Knitting pattern for the “Happy Dog” dishcloth - this dishcloth is a fun accessory for all dog lovers. It’s wonderfully suited for cleaning the bowl. There’s no chance of mixing it up with your regular dishcloth :-)

Rachel triangular shawl

With lots of leftover yarn in different colors, you can crochet yourself the asymmetrical Rachel triangular shawl. Two different crochet patterns alternate. The bright colors make the Rachel triangular shawl a cheerful eye-catcher. You can get the detailed crochet pattern in my Blickfang-Design store. If you stop by, I’d be happy to have you visit.

Crochet appliqués are perfect for small, colorful scraps. They’re quick and easy to crochet and can be used in all sorts of ways: as scatter decorations, as ornaments on an Easter branch, as gift tags, on greeting cards, and as extra embellishments for an Easter basket.

Crochet pattern for crocheting around a tin can

It is crocheted in continuous rounds, and you can use as many colors as you like.

For these dishcloths, a small amount of yarn is enough for one row. On the wrong side row, the next color is already used.

You should know single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet.

Crochet pattern for a tablecloth

Individual flowers are crocheted and always joined to the ones already crocheted in the final round. No sewing the individual flowers together, and the shape can always be changed.

Knitting pattern for doll shoes

Knitted with a set of double-pointed needles, there are 2 types of edging: a rolled edge or a fold-over cuff.
