Women's fashion for spring and summer: Download your new favorite styles now.

This poncho is super lightweight, cuddly soft and warm, and it’s easy to throw on quickly when your shoulders get chilly. For me, it’s a garment that has to come along always and everywhere. It saves me from needing a thick jacket, and with it I always have my arms and hands free. Hot flashes are practically out of the question here.

Easy to knit, even while watching TV.

If you prefer a thick cardigan instead, this one is just right. It is knitted in merino wool with raglan from the bottom up, slightly fitted at the waist, and thanks to the pattern it even fits 3 sizes. That’s because it’s nicely stretchy while still fitting the body beautifully. The practical pockets are knitted in on 2 sides. Recommended for advanced knitters.

This collar scarf made from thinner leftover yarn or sock yarn goes great with almost any outfit. It warms the neck and nape and can be quickly taken off when it gets warm. It is easy to knit and simply practical, since it can be worn both unbuttoned and standing up.

This collar scarf - model 2 - is knitted from cotton (yardage 120–125 m/50 g). It is just as practical, and men will enjoy it too. For everyone who doesn’t like turtlenecks or scarves, here’s the button-up solution.

This very simple round collar / shoulder warmer is also a pretty accessory for a sweater or under a blouse. Easy to knit and also doable for beginners with basic knowledge.

Do you have enough summer wool?

My summer yarn (a large stash) is practically begging for the needles and hands that will transform it into a beautiful project. That will definitely keep me going this summer. That’s why I’m on a yarn diet. ;-)

Thanks, Marion, Ruth, and Marlene, for liking my new projects. :) The little sweater is almost finished, too. It’ll look really good on my Lena. She’ll get a hairband to go with it.

Sandra, your Easter wreath turned out absolutely beautiful—it has such a cute bunny in it.

Now I wish you all here a wonderful evening! Let those needles clatter or get crocheting, whichever you prefer. ;-)

This colorful children’s jacket could become your child’s or grandchild’s favorite piece of clothing. It has pockets—which are especially popular—and a hood. So it has everything needed for those first spring walks. The jacket fits approximately sizes 92–104 and is knitted as a top-down raglan.

Hardworking little helpers: What are you working on today?

Sandra, I know all too well about the kids’ kitchen. My granddaughter was also determined to have the food she had on her plate. Fried eggs on toast, tomatoes and other vegetables, spaghetti, and even butter. So I crocheted all of that for her. She’s having a lot of fun with it.

Way to go, Marlene. You’re so quick—you’ve already finished a beautiful project.

I’ve also (almost) finished the second skirt for my granddaughter. The skirt itself would already be done, but I thought of something else that’s still missing. Here’s what the second, larger skirt looks like now:

And then I started on the doll’s sweater. It’s still growing and now looks like this:

Ready for spring?

Yes, I already have potted spring flowers all over the place, and I’m enjoying the colorful blooms sprouting in the gardens and the birds singing. Even the hedgehog is awake already, and we’re giving him a little help getting started by feeding him.

Anticipation is just such a wonderful thing, and I’m looking forward to the real awakening of spring still ahead of me.

Ruth, your pot holders shaped like Easter eggs are a great idea… and they go well with your shop.

I’ve gotten this far with the second skirt for Linja—already in the next size up, which will fit her just fine even now. It has slightly different colors. Linja really likes blue.

And now I’m going to tackle the little sweater for the doll—to match the skirt.

For all the projects I have in mind, I’d need at least 10 arms. ;-) There’s still so much I want to make. So I’ll never get bored.

Oh my gosh, Ruth, that turned out so cute again. Your doll clothes are a real hit—your granddaughters picked the perfect grandma. I wouldn’t have been able to say no either. Your Alexandra is really cute.

Sandra, I fell in love with your beetle right away. It would get a place of honor in my home. A great comfort.
