Dear users, dear authors,
and here we go with the final stretch and the awards ceremony for 2020.

If you’d like to read through the February projects again, you can do so via this link.

A little information about the final stretch and the awards ceremony:

Who can join in and how do you do it?
Copy the section in the post below between the asterisks into your text field / the reply field, then fill it out accordingly or
delete anything that doesn’t apply.

When will the awards ceremony take place?

Around March 4/5, 2020. All participants will be entered.

I’m “only” a user, not an author—can I still join in?
All users and all authors can participate. Simply write a post in the final-stretch thread and you’re in. Just join in.

Awarding titles: Everyone receives at least one honorary title. No one goes offline without a title or without extra bonus points
If someone had a lot of offline / everyday-life challenges in February, that can also be recognized, if desired, with a fitting honorary title or with extra karma points / bonus points. If necessary, I’ll invent a new honorary title.

Earn extra points / bonus points and improve your own karma:
- As always, there are extra
bonus karma points for photos / images (only your own uploaded ones). Please do not upload third-party images / images that do not belong to you (e.g., from somewhere on the internet). These will be deleted.
- Finished handmade items that are given to dear people as gifts or donated always earn extra karma points / bonus points, to appropriately
recognize the time / effort / energy required for them.
--> Please provide the relevant details here in the thread.
- Feedback for the Crazypatterns authors (e.g., reviews, comments, etc.) is also always rewarded with extra points.
--> Please write down details if applicable.

Template to copy in the post directly below.

UFO Queen/King in February / WIP Queen/King
My WIP, the Rainbow shawl, was finished in February.

Best of Leftovers in February: using leftover yarn is always a good idea
I used leftover yarn for the mini baskets and little hearts, and also for the “Kitten” doily

Yarn Diet 2020 / Yarn Emperor/Empress / Inner-Pig-Dog Conqueror in February
Since January 15, I haven’t bought any more yarn.
Unfortunately, in March I have to buy 50g of crochet thread as an emergency for the Mystery CAL, because the colors I have just don’t match.

Buying patterns in February: become Crazypatterns Queen/King
[x] I bought more than 5 patterns in February, mainly for decorations, but also for the headband.

Crazypatterns staying loyal as a user and author
[x] I like buying (since 2016) on Crazypatterns and very/too much / I like downloading
free patterns and am therefore Loyalty Queen/King

Watchlist / Wishlist Cleaner
[x] In February I reduced my watchlist / wishlist for the
patterns I would like to have, but there are still far too many.

Wishlist Filler / Watchlist Filler
[x] My wishlist of patterns I would like to have has grown a little
because I really enjoy clicking through the new
patterns / bestsellers / the authors’ shops, etc.

Hardworking Brownie in February
[x] I was able to take care of / finish / complete many handmade projects in February.
Details:
- crocheted and gifted a mini “Kitten” doily
- crocheted and gifted 2 little hearts
- 6 mini baskets, one of them already gifted
- 1 crochet net as a gift for a friend abroad
- finished knitting the “Rainbow” shawl as a WIP
- set made of alpaca yarn: wrist warmers and headband (photo shown)

Forum Queen/King in the month of February
[x] In February I created posts in the Crazypatterns forum, or at least one post.

[x] I took part in the Crazypatterns crafting group and had fun. = The monthly project threads.

Learned something new in February
[x] I learned something new in February (e.g., a new technique /
a new type of stitch / a new kind of craft, etc.) and am therefore a winner. :-) To decorate the baskets, I needed the daisy stitch and had to look it up again.

Gardening Season / Start of the 2020 Gardening Season
[x] I had cozy blanket evenings.

[x] I have already started crafting the decorations and gifts for Easter.

It didn’t exactly turn out to be a “rainbow”…

I’ve finished the awards ceremony.
You can find the awards ceremony here in this thread in the third post from the top.

Congratulations to all of you for your hard work in February and your imaginative projects. :- )

Who’s still missing, or did I forget anything?

Your titles are at least as imaginative as our projects, Josefa! Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for the great titles, dear Josefa :)

I like “Chick Queen” best.

And once again: The awards ceremony is so heartwarming—thank you so, so much! Such encouragement is especially helpful and motivating right now, during the COVID-19 pandemic! (Fortunately, it has nothing to do with viruses!)

Thank you so much, Josefa—that sounds very motivating again. It’s always nice to be here. :) It makes up for the craft group I unfortunately don’t have locally. “Matching Outfit Queen”—that made me smile.

Dear Josefa, thank you for your comforting words about Ribblemonster-Queen.
It was a lot of fun again.

Thanks for all the titles—I was really happy about them 😀
It’s nice when you share a hobby and then get titles (Newbie Queen, Alpaca Queen, Jacket Queen) on top of that.
Thank you so much.

I really hope I’ll be able to join in again next month.
