Hi everyone!
A quick heads-up on our end: Starting June 19, 2026, EU law (Directive (EU) 2023/2673 amending the Consumer Rights Directive, implemented under Latvian consumer protection law) requires that buyers be able to withdraw from a contract they concluded online just as easily as they entered into it — through a clearly labeled button that's available at any time and doesn't require a login.
We've taken care of this. You'll now find the withdrawal function permanently in the footer, accessible from any page. It's a two-step process: Withdraw from contract → confirm, after which a confirmation email goes out automatically.
The function simply adds to the right of withdrawal that already exists — it doesn't replace the withdrawal policy.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out here in the thread.

You guys always make this quick and easy, without any fuss. Really great. Other sites could take a page from your book!
As far as I know, this is how it used to work: If a customer wanted to cancel their purchase, they would email support, and we would check whether the pattern had already been downloaded:
- If not, the purchase was canceled.
- If so, the purchase could not be canceled.
Is this the feature in question?
And how does the new button ensure this now: As soon as the customer clicks it after making a purchase, are the checks mentioned above performed automatically?
Hi Anja,
thanks for your question—it addresses exactly the important point that’s easy to confuse. In short: No, the new button isn’t simply the old cancellation check in button form, but a separate, legally required way to withdraw from a contract.
The background is already well known: Since June 19, 2026, EU law requires that a contract concluded online can be withdrawn from just as easily as it was concluded—via a clearly labeled button, accessible at any time and without logging in. That’s exactly what the button in the footer is. So it’s primarily an easy-to-find way to access the withdrawal option and not a new cancellation rule. The process there is a two-step procedure (withdraw from contract → confirm), after which a confirmation of receipt is automatically sent via email.
It’s important to note: This feature merely supplements the existing right of withdrawal and does not replace the withdrawal policy. This means the button does not change the substantive requirements—that is, when a purchase can be reversed and when it cannot. It simply makes the process of declaring a withdrawal easier and visible to everyone.
When the button is clicked, we receive a brief email at support, and in the admin area, we see all incoming withdrawals compiled in a single overview. As before, each case is reviewed manually—a person always decides after review whether a cancellation or withdrawal is carried out or rejected. So nothing changes in the actual process (including the check to see if the patterns have already been downloaded).
Thanks for following up—feel free to reach out if anything is still unclear!
Warm regards

Hi Alexander,
Thank you very much for the explanation (even on a Sunday)—it’s clearer now.
Best regards, Anja
