Knitted hats and booties make a lovely welcome gift for the little ones. 

The hat can be knitted for head circumferences from 33 to 55 cm, and the booties—depending on the yarn yardage and needle size—will have a sole length of 9 to 11 cm. 



When it’s cold outside, little mittens are great. This pattern is created using slipped stitches, and it’s also a great way to use up smaller leftover yarn. 



To go with the mittens, I offer you the matching booties. They are knitted with a set of double-pointed needles, and the pattern is written in detail, round by round. 



My daughter loved this style of hat for our grandson. You just slip it on, and the ears are covered right away. Even on a sleeping child, you can easily slip a little hat on. 



This crocheted bonnet has ties. Here, too, different leftover yarns can be combined.

For cute baby feet in spring and summer: These crocheted baby sandals, available in three sizes, can be made even by beginners with a little practice:

This cute reversible hat can be made for dolls, preemies, newborns, and older children. My tip: for a preemie, I would use a soft cotton yarn or a bamboo-cotton blend.
The hat is knitted in doubleface, which makes it look great from both sides. Detailed instructions for the doubleface basics are included.

Small cloths for cuddling and / or cleaning faces are always a great idea for babies. Here is a selection of cloths with cheerful motifs that children (and parents) will enjoy for many years. A soft and cozy baby blanket is an essential for every new little arrival.

These cute washcloths are a lovely gift for a new baby, they knit up really quickly and are very easy to make. Of course, the little ones can also use the washcloth for cuddling and sucking on, provided you use a suitable baby yarn :-) The motifs are created using only knit and purl stitches. In the pattern, all rows are written out stitch by stitch, so even beginners can manage well.

Knitting Pattern Baby Blanket "Mom's Love"

When a baby is on the way in our family, I start thinking about which blanket I’d like to knit / crochet to welcome the new little person into the world. Here are a few of my blankets from my range. 



This blanket is started in the middle and crocheted in spiral rounds. 



Crocheted blanket with double crochet and chain stitches - also ideal for using up leftover yarn. 



Here, too, the crocheted blanket is started in the middle. I combined lots of different colors here. In the middle, the smaller leftovers were used up; toward the outside, it was then whole balls of one color. 



With this knitted blanket , the cable look is created completely without a cable needle. Only knit and purl stitches are worked. 



This blanket with a mix of patterns is a little more difficult to knit. It is started in the middle with a set of double-pointed needles, and you quickly switch to a circular needle. The pattern includes written instructions, and you will also find a knitting chart.
