The motif is created only by knit and purl stitches. The border consists of an easy-to-do but very decorative cable pattern (no cable needle required). The pattern explains very detailed and stitch by stitch how you can knit this lovely blanket, so even beginners with good knitting skills will succeed. Gauge measured over stockinette stitch: 21 stitches x 33 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4“ x 4“)

With this gauge, size of the finished blanket will be approx. 67 x 97 cm (after blocking or ironing).

• 4 mm (US 6) circular needles, minimum 80 cm
