Knitting pattern baby / children's blanket "Dream Night II" - easy

As I was frequently asked if I could also design a blanket with dogs, here there it is - "Dream Night II".

This little dog feels as safe as every child should feel! Snuggled up close to mummy or daddy, a big sibling or simply a good friend - it's a wonderful way to dream and spend a cosy night.

With this blanket, you can symbolically give a baby or small child your best wishes for many cosy and safe nights. A special blanket like this will be a wonderful reminder of childhood for years to come.

The motif is created only by knit and purl stitches. The pattern explains very detailed and stitch by stitch how you can knit this lovely blanket, so even ambitioned beginners will succeed. And if there should be any questions, I`ll be happy to help!

You will get very detailed directions with written instructions for each row. In addition you will get a knitting chart for the motif in a separate file. You can choose if you go with the written instructions or prefer working with the knitting chart.

Stockinette stitch: 22 stitches x 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4“ x 4“)

With this gauge, size of the finished blanket will be approx. 80 x 100 cm.

• Wollbutt Venia (running length 318 m / 100 gr) about 4 skeins à 100 gr in light blue; my blanket has a weight of about 330 gr; depending on your personal knitting tension the exact weight may vary
  alternatively you can use any yarn which is suitable for babies; size of the finished blanket may be different then
• 4 mm (US 6) circular needles, minimum 80 cm
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
